Wow. Classic Ginobili flop. Head moves in a little, then moves out to create space. But Ginobili just falls down point blank. Stupid thing is, refs give the posession to the Spurs.
Well after starting off atacking the rim T-mac reverted back to shooting jump shots. Actually the whole offense became jump shots. And why the hell was Head in the game? Why not play Snider? Bad loss!! You got the Spurs on the rope and you let them come back. No excuse for this one.
Well, fantastic game for 34 mins, absolutely pathetic in the last 14. Let's say immaturity (or: when Yao is tired we are nothing).
Bull ****. Tmac started shooting jumpshots because we had a huge lead. JVG didn't call the timeout's til SA actually came and took the lead, or maybe he did, but not soon enough. Damn referees are just plain dumbasses, Ginobli flop was WAY too easy to catch, even on the blurry TVU chinese channel. Defense broke down and gave up way too early. Tmac should've attacked the rim more!
Well, that sucked. Spurs kicked our ass, plain and simple. Our perimeter defense turned to crap, and the offense wasn't much better.
Horrible game. Everyone started out making shots, but than went cold for the last quarter and a half. Why didn't T-Mac attack the rim more in the second half? He had a lot of success doing that in the first quarter. It looked like T-Mac was actually going to shoot a good percentage today, but he finished 10-25. And Yao did not have a very good game either. I don't think he made one of his jumpshots. He also only had 6 rebounds. The Rockets are not very good at holding leads.
Damn, the same exact thing happened to my Rockets in NBA Live 07. I was up by 12 at the half, 7 by the end of the third, and then I lost by 9. I quit the game and ran it again, but failed in the 4th again. T-Mac looked great in the first half. I am happy he had a good game against a good team and good D. He really needed it. I blame Shaquille O'Neal for the loss. He injured Chuck Hayes, who was a major factor in our line up with our main 3 (T-Mac, Yao, Rafer) and Battier. That starting line-up is the most efficient team in the league. In all fairness, Juwan did better then I thought he would. <div class="quote_poster">AznxBaller Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Wow, you're right igotask8board, it brought me goosebumps when I watched that last play of the half. A lot of it was similar, like how he shot it over two Spurs, was shooting it running forward, and how it looked like there was no way in hell it would go in. Only thing different was that Head passed it over to him. EDIT- McGrady just made a shot clock beating three right over Bowen...</div> Nice elaboration. Same building as well. --- Damnit...if we won this game we would have been 6-2. Barkley would have ate his words up (when he said the Rockets would not make the playoffs) if we won this game. <font size=""1"">All good things come to an end.</font>

Hey hey you guys don't over react a team learns through these experiences and i feel the rockets are learning another lesson about not letting in. Mcgrady had a good game but should continue to work on jump shot for this team to be great. The players on this team need to learn to make plays and not watch t-mac and yao all the time and have movement and make plays too but this is just a road bump we will get out of.
Rockets had a 19 point lead at one point during the game, but nonetheless most of this Spurs team has been together for ages. The Rockets have to mesh and are still doing really well, as well Yao has been really good. One game makes little difference, Houston fans have a nice team to watch. (and all of China lol)
I'm actually glad the Rockets lost. We need to learn these lessons and come together as a team. The real test is beating chicago and Detroit. If we beat Both we are officially a powerhouse.
We were up by like 17 and we lose by 9 i think. Very bad game by Rockets. Tmac looked good, I understand Yao had an offnight with Duncan on him, we played good, but they played better. Bad game. And our bench didnt help much.. We need Bonzi now..
<div class="quote_poster">Umair15 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I understand Yao had an offnight with Duncan on him, ..</div> No, he had dpuble triple teams on him everytime he touched the ball. They missed a lot of shoves from all around Yao. They sandwiched him on every posession.
I was sooooooooooooooo pissed after last nights game that I didn't even study for an exam (luckily my proffesor cancelled), we got the big lead and then forgot about Yao, and fell in love with the jumpshot, I think JVG went with Head for too long last night, he took a couple of bad shots and he was too small to guard finley in the post.....I would've rather seen Battier, Snyder or Novak in there....we really missed Chuck Hayes, Yao isn't quick enough to guard Duncan face to face, AND Bonzi needs to get back in shape soon....and can we please stop double teaming uneccessary people and leaving 3 point shooters wide open....and Udrih has NO RIGHT HAND whatsoever, all you have to do is stay on his left side the whole time.....I'm still mad about this crap, God I hate the Spurs. EDIT And yes the refs did suck....they weren't the reason we loss, but they made horrible call after horrible call all night long....to hell with the muddy city!!!
So whats the word on Tmac? I watched the beginning (first few plays) then I had to go. I saw 2 nice drives by Tmac early on. I then came home and saw the boxscore : 10-25 FG (40%) and a nice 4-7 from 3pt land. Was he shooting as much as he did in the previous games or did he drive it in more?
although he cooled off in the 2nd half I actually like what I saw out of tmac last night, he looked to take it to the bucket more, the rockets just hit that groove where they couldn't buy a basket.
