Yea, Gordon really stepped up during the 3rd quarter, he was hitting every shot.

    Nocioni hit a deep 3.

    Tmac hit a nice jumper

Snyder fouled the rebounder. JVG was mad at him, saying "I just told you... I just told you."

    5 pt game.

Ben Gorden hits both free throws.

    Tmac fouled. hits both.

    Ben Gorden hits layup.

The Rockets are really trying to blow this game, weren't they up by 20+ in this game?

    Battier hits both free throws.

Gordon hits a big 3. Houston ball

Rafer hits first FT, Rafer hits second free throw.

4 point game. Bulls ball. Gordon misses!!!

    Head fouled I think.

Nocioni gets an inbounds 2 pter, and then they steal the ball off the inbound and Nocioni hits the 3 as the buzzer sounds.

Houston wins by 1 point. 101-100. Very exciting game imo.

    101 - 100 Rockets win
    whew...

How did we blow a 21 pt lead?
So once Tmac and Yao steps off the court theres no one to cause any damage? This is exactly why we need Bonzi back.

Nice job by Battier to throw the ball down the court rather than try to force something up close. The ball was TOed but atleast he didnt get called for 5 secs or TOed it in the danger zone. He also did a nice job defensively at the end. He was smart enough to realize that he should avoid the foul at all times and that the Bulls cant make up the 4pt lead unless he does foul.

Phew...Yeah..Rockets got to learn how to finish games. I didn't watch this game, but seems like as long as Yao doesn't score 25+, rockets would have a hard time to win a game.

Rockets sucked bombs this game. The played exactly the way they did against San Antonio. They had a big lead and blew it, they did the same thing this game except got lucky with some good free throw shooting. How do you have a 20+ lead and blow it all the way to 1. Gordon did us up pretty bad all by himself. Rockets need to learn to keep a lead till the end. In the end, we were up by 4 with 4.7 seconds remaining. We chunked the ball to the other side of the court, they caught it brought it up, and Nocioni hit a 3 at the buzzer to make it 100-101. So that 3 at the end didnt matter. Good game, but we made some bad mistakes in the second half. I say we played a poor game even though we won, but again a win is a win. I give Rockets credit for beating a team I thought they didnt have a chance of beating, but they need to learn to hold on to a good lead.

There it goes again. As usual the Rockets have to bleed for their points after having a good second and early third quarter effort to built a big lead. I wonder why they start to lose focus on the defense and offfense after putting up a great effort in the first three quarters. Its good to have the win but they have to change the way they play in the 4th. Its very hard to stop a team who plays as if there's nothing to lose and then suddenly begin to gain the momentum throughout the endig situations. Time is not always on their side. A team whose determined can score bunch of point in just a few seconds. Defense should be tightened up in the last quarter.

Battier almost fouled Nocioni for what would have been a 4 point play. He didn't need to play D on him.

It seems like someone in a slump, or just some scrub needs to have a breakout performance, when they play the Rockets, in order to get the win/make a big comeback late but fail. So far it's been CJ Miles (Jazz), Peja Stojakovic, Bobby Jackson, Charlie Bell, Beno Udrih, Robery Horry, and Ben Gordon.

I think when we get huge leads, we should stop guarding the paint and start gaurding the 3 point line. The past two games both teams have come back by shooting exceptionally well from the 3 point line when the game begins to look like a blowout. Even though we start games off with good shooting from the 3 point line, we manage to finish the game with a horibble 3FG%. Even when the Rockets are up by 20, they need to keep driving it in.

ESPN/TNT commenators are dicks to the Rockets. We get injured one season and they all openly hate on us. I like not having there support. That way the Rockets can rub it in there face when we make the playoffs (knock on wood).

No that is not the case. We score more this year than we did last year per game. Our problem is we give Tmac and Battier and long period of rest in 3rd quarter whicch diminishes our scoring. BUT most of all, defense collapses in second half. this is something that can be worked on so im not worried just as long as were winning.

I think the Rocket's inability to finish was exaggerated due to the last two games. San Antonio is a just an elite team that has had its core together for a really long time, so they can always work hard on both ends to pull out a win.

The bulls are also one of the few teams that will not give up until the game definitely isn't winnable. They kept on pushing it and pushing it, never slowing down. If Houston were playing other teams they'd probably have put some scrubs on and kind of give up after being down by 21 pts.

Neither team deserved to win this game. both teams played horribly for extended periods of time. But someone had to come out on top.
