?We?re going with Gerald (Green) right now, and Tony?s going to find his way back on the floor,? Rivers said. ?He?s handled it very well. He?s disappointed, I?m sure, and he should be, but Gerald?s playing well.

?Tony?s turned the ball over, and Gerald is smart enough not to put himself in turnover positions.?</div>

I'd like to see Gerald Green take advantage of this opportunity and play well enough to become the everyday starter for the Celtics. If anyone can bring back some excitement to Celtics basketball it's GG.

I would also like to see Gerald play everday but I wouldnt mind seeing Tony calm down, stop turning the ball over and play at the level we all know he can. especially with that defense of his, we need that.

Tony will be back, he just needs to settle and get his head together. And once he does, his starting job will be waiting for him, but not forever.

I misspoke actually. He will never have a starting spot again for this team. Sad, but true. He has shown he can still play, but there's just no chance of him getting starter's minutes with so much meat in front of him.

Oh well I forgive you. He has the potential to be a great player and a starter on another team but I just can't see him taking the place of anyone in the starting five at this point.

Tony Allen is a classic example of Doc's poor coaching. He was better at OK State than he is here.
