I love Newcastle, Guiness, and any Indian Pale Ale Beer. In general beer is the drink of gods, it goes great with everything, pizza, sausages, steak, sandwich, sushi, pasta, pancakes. Just talking about beer makes we want an ice cold one from the fridge.

I personally like some Keith's or Stella. Heineken is good too.</div>

Keiths is made by labatt.....labatt is a brewer not a beer.

Guiness draft or stout?....they are both gross imo.
Its india pale ale dude, you never refer to it as indian.....its always just an india pale ale.....i'm nitpicking i know
Keiths is very good if you can get it in LA...i dunno if you can.

I have to say the best is Tui (which is a New Zealand beer, very nice) followed closely by Budweiser. I'm also a big fan of LaBatt Blue from Canada. But when I go out, I usually drink Carona and/or Crown or Tooheys Extra Dry.

    Australian Beer is very overated.</div>

For a connoisseur you pick some bad beers.....Bud is a decent domestic beer if u have to drink one. Blue is disgusting...on my worst all time beer list.

You can quote multiple people in one post, instead of triple posting.

</div>there is only one guinness - it is a stout.
one other thing - if i see someone drinking a light beer i lose a lot of respect for them right there and then. besides the fact that they are concerned about calories while drinking beer, which is kind of like screwing a chick and wondering how your hair looks, it says a lot about how they've been fooled by marketing - you have to drink more light beer to catch a buzz, and calorie wise they're not much less than regular beer. A 12-oz. regular beer is about 150 cals, a "light" beer is about 110 cals..........not to mention they taste like ass. I just pray Guinness never makes a light beer. that will be a sad day.

As a Wisconsinite, I must say that liquor is awesome.

As far as that goes, I like Miller High Life and Moose Drool for beer, and Jack Daniels, Jaeger, Rumpleminze and Hennessey for harder alcohol.

But I've also got to say this, and I'm not trying to hijack this thread or anything, but IMO, weed is about the same price as a bunch of booze, and it doesn't give you a hangover or **** you up so bad that you say or do stupid things, plus you don't have to worry about drunk driving. Obviously, it's illegal to get weed, but it's easy around here, and honestly since I started smoking I've hardly drank at all, just like a beer or two when we go out or watch a game. [IMG] That's just me though, by all means get yourselves drunk and be merry. It's a celebration, bishes! Ahahahahah [/rick james]

I used to dislike beer like most people, then I decided it was cheaper and a more efficient and fun way to get drunk so I started forcing myself to chug it whenever I was with friends. In like less than a week I had acquired the taste and am now in love. I like hard alcohol too, but i'd rather sit back and drink a beer any day... or stand up and shotgun one, which I also recommend. My favorite beers are Coors Light, Miller Lite, and Henry Weinhard's, although I can drink anything really.

Agree, I think anyone who has done both will tell you that weed is a better option for partying since you don't get hangovers, overdose, its easier to hide your highness at work or in front of your parents, and you don't turn into a belligerent idiot who can't drive. Of course if you're on parole, looking for a job, or playing on a sports team that tests for drugs then alcohol is the better option. Its ridiculous that in American society we're taught that weed is a terrible drug while its probably less harmful than alcohol and many prescribed drugs.

As for me, I generally stick to Vodka. Its cheap, relatively easily accessible, effective, you can mix it with alot of stuff (Gatorade for the on-the-go or student alcoholic, Red Bull for partying, or you can drink it straight if you've got a big group that you have to pass it around to). On occasion I'll have some Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan, or whatever else I can get my hands on. Like I said though if some bud is available I'd usually use that instead.

I have to admit that i'm very ignorant when it comes to australian beers. As for the beer I drink, I stick to micro brewers from Ontario. Beers like Moosehead, Mill Street, Creemore (recently purchased by Coors/Molson) are all very good beers. I really don't know what canadian beers are available to you so I really couldn't recommend anything to you. I also enjoy Kokanee, Bass, and most Rickards beers (Red, Pale Ale, Honey Brown)....do people in Australia actually drink Fosters?

Corona is the best beer in the world. But it's expensive. German beers are GREAT also. But the good ones have a problem just like Corona - they're expensive.

Carlsberg is has a good (far from Corona) and it doesn't cost much. 13 krones in our country (0,5l) (1 dollar is - 11-12 krones or something). Corona costs like 8-9 dollars here (0,33l).

The most popular and the best beer in our country is problably SAKU ICE. 0,33 litres only about 0,95 dollars or something) and the taste is great ! It's a light beer. But ohh... We've been so many times drunk driniking that beer.

I'm going to a big party this Saturday. It's gonna be great. I'm buying a Captain Morgan to there and mix it with Coke.

LOL, the first time I was drunk was like after the 3rd grade, in summer. Haha ;D We had 4 beers and a big cider for 4 guys. ;D;D
