    Pre Game Predictions Contest

    1. Who will lead the Lakers in scoring tonight?
    2. Who will lead the Lakers in rebounds tonight?
    3. Who will lead the Lakers in assists tonight?
    4. Who will Andrew Bynum "truck" tonight?
    5. Will the Lakers win or lose?
    6. Will Kobe Bryant score over 40 points tonight?
    7. Will the Lakers have more FTAs or 3PTAs?
    8. Will the Lakers have under or over 20 turnovers?

Each question you get right is worth 1 point, and after each month there will be a prize for the highest score. If you edit your choices after the game starts to cheat, you'll be disqualified. Which means all picks must be in before the game starts.

I'll keep an updated point total and your scores will be reset to zero at the end of a month.

The Lakers offense has been stellar all season long, but the team must focus on stabilizing the defense to hold onto big leads.

The Bulls have been struggling to score, but their speed lineup could present a problem for the Lakers tonight. Kirk Hinrich will come out aggressive against Smush Parker and try to create easy offense early in the game. The Lakers have to prevent his dribble penetration and possibly trap him once he crosses halfcourt and force Ben Gordon to beat them.

Ben Gordon has been heckyl and jeckyl with his jumpshot, and when he's off, the Bulls don't win.

The intriguing matchup is going to be Bynum and Ben Wallace. How will Bynum handle the physical nature of Big Ben, and deal with Wallace's strength? Bynum will have to focus on rebounding today, because Big Ben makes a living on the offensive glass. Boxing him out has to be priority #1 for Bynum.

The Lakers need Lamar Odom to be aggressive tonight. The Bulls don't have an answer for him defensively, and Odom should be able to have a monster game against whoever Skiles decides to defend him with. PJ Brown is too slow, Nocioni and Deng are too short. The Lakers need Odom driving to the basket and challenging the Bulls defense. There has to be a lot of slashing once Odom makes his move, because Ben Wallace will likely rotate over for the block shot, leaving the slasher wide open for a layup.

The Bulls just lost all three games in the Texas Triangle road trip, so they'll be hungry for a victory. The Lakers have to play at a high level throughout this game, and not come into the 3rd quarter lethargic and flat footed. The third quarters were a problem last year for this team, and so far they haven't fixed it.

The last 4 games we've been killed coming out of halftime by the opposition.

I'll be watching this game. So far, the Bulls have a record of 1-5 away and we've got a solid record at home thus far. Lamar needs to play how he played in the first two games.

Yeah well Bynum did the same to Wallace on the Bulls first possession. Smush Parker even gave him a nice posterization

38-35 Lakers. Hopefully we will get more of an offensive groove in the second half.

Man, what a game by Bynum, kid is a beast. Great dunk by Kwame too, never saw that coming. Lakers look so different this year, even though most of the players are the same.

Lakers played pretty bad. The offense had almost no flow, they only had 14 assists. Things I was encouraged to see though was that Kobe and Lamar both had very solid games together, highlighted by that dunk at the end.

Also, even though the Lakers didn't play very well- they still won by 10. That's a sign of when you have a good team.

Yeah, I hear you. A win is a win, but the Lakers have been playing very sloppy. We're lucky that most of our games have been at home, because you just can't get a way with such play on the road
