4 teams in the pacific are over .500, 9 teams overall in the west are over .500 In the East... 3 teams OVERALL are above .500. 8th seed in the East right now is Miami with a 4-5 record (.444) 8th seed in the West right now is Houston with a 6-4 record (.600) The Warriors have the same record (7-3) as the top team in the East ---------- Boy this sucks for us. It's as if even though the Warriors get better to increase their chances of ending their drought, the West gets even tougher negating the fact that the Warriors improved. I want to see the Warriors in the playoffs damnit!!!
Well...we are at .700 now-so let those below sweat it for now. I do believe we'd have had several playoff years if in the East. We are doing fine and should be getting better as Nellie and the team learn each other. We also gain as guys get healthy. Nellie-in a real short time-produced big improvements in Baron and Pietrus. Ellis and Biedrens are as hot as anyone in the legue. Nellie will work his Magic soon with Troy and Ike. Jrich will come back as all he was and perhaps more. Nellie seemed to feel P O'Bryant will be real good-though he never said when. Add it up and we have a team I feel safe in saying-will be well above average in the West.

Nice shot by Biedrins! Gets fouled in the act and he makes the three point play too. I'm impressed with Pietrus tonight. He was kind of sloppy with the ball but he wasn't picking up stupid fouls and he's been very productive across the board. He's got 5 blocks, I think. 50++% shooting. Ellis owns Barbosa. LOL.
