<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">One answer to Chris Kaman's struggles is that he has had a hard time adjusting to a strained hamstring that made him miss most of the exhibition season.

Another answer is that he is having some type of hoop hangover after signing a five-year, $52.5 million contract extension right before the season started.

But Kaman does not contribute his early struggles to either of those potential reasons, and simply said on Tuesday that he expects to snap out of his funk.

"I don't know what it is," Kaman said before the Clippers' meeting with the Lakers. "I can't put my finger on exactly what it is. I just know that I'm struggling right now, and I want to get out of that slump."

Kaman's statistics have dipped from 11.9 points and 9.6 rebounds in 32.8 minutes last season to 7.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in 24.0 minutes this season. He never had such low production in any stretch last season and, says he just can't find his rhythm.

The 7-foot center went on to explain that in three games he had just 10 shots, and that made it difficult for him to have a chance to get out of his slump. </div>
