In This Scenario The Packers Trade the Number 5 pick to Denver for both of their firsts and their second. They also recieve a 4th rounder for Marco Rivera's compensation pick. 1) Bobby Carpenter LB Ohio State (Instant Starter) 1B) Ashton Youbouty CB Ohio State( Pushes Carroll right out of the starting line up) 2) Ko Simpson S South Carolina(Competes with Roman for starting spot and is very likely to succeed) 2B) Brian Calhoun RB Wisconsin(Replaces Fisher indefinatly as 3rd down back and pushes Gado and Green for starting spot) 3) Mark Setterstrom OL Minnesota(Zone blocker for Minnesota why not Greenbay?) 4) A.J Nicholson OLB Florida State (doubtful he silps this far but his character concerns could cause it, becomes special teams beast for a year before becoming starting WSLB) 4B) David Thomas TE Texas(To much potential not to take if he slips this far, better option than Martin at least) 5)Domata Peko DT Michigan State(could be a real steel that no one is talking about, could come in the rotation immediatly on rushing downs) 6) Brad Smith QB Missouri(Too much upside to pass on here, could become our own personal Anwtwan Randl El)
Don't like the Youboty pick. I rather see Tye Hill or Antonio Cromartie in that spot. Maybe a Safety like Darnell Bing. Two Buckeye is just too much for this Badger fan to handle. I do like Carpenter though. McCarthy likes bigger backs and Caulhon is 5-10 195. Though if we do land the Oak Creek alumni that would be pretty sweet. Packers usually don't draft Badger players early. Example: Passing on Chris Chambers for Robert Ferguson. Oh you should of seen me that day. ahhhhh Simpson is a likely first rounder. I could see him in round 2 though but that's if he doesn't run well at the combine. He is overhyped but his school's media though. I see TT making many trades to stock pile a lot of picks.
Wow that is cool, i like your comments after all the players you mentioned. What do you think will happen with the RB position?

D'Brickashaw Ferguson is an amazing tackle that would be worth moving up for. With that said I don't see that happening.
I don't really see it happening either but there is talk that Denver is IN LOVE with Mario Williams and they're only a player or 2 away from the big game in some minds. At RB I expect Green to be signed to a 1 year incentive based contract, I expect Najeh to be gone, Fisher will be brought into training camp and has a good chance to make to roster but also has a good chance of being cut, Gado will remain on the roster for at least one more year barring some catastrophic meltdown or something, If we draft Calhoun he could become our feature back despite the talks that he's undersized and not able to carry the entire load, heck even if it's true we still have Gado, Green and Fisher to help him out, I call Calhoun the 2nd most explosive back in the draft only to Reggie Bush.
David Thomas (TE from Texas) will not slip that far. He will be the 2nd or 3rd TE off the board. Marcedes Lewis and Leonard Pope going before DT.

Thomas actually jumped into first day consideration because of the Rose Bowl but he didn't jump into the top 5 TE's especially since Byrd had a great Senior Bowl. 1. Vernon Davis Maryland Top TE in the draft and one of the BEST TE prospects ever on paper. 2. Leonard Pope Georgia 3. Marcedes Lewis UCLA 4. Anthony Fasano ND 5. Dominique Byrd USC I see Thomas going in the 4th round and maybe breaking into late round 3.
