Chuck gives half-assed answers. I remember he was bashing Artest on his show for wanting to leave Indiana, because Ron wanted to forget all the stuff that happened there. I emailed him asking him what's the difference between what Artest wanted to do and what Dany Heatley was doing (who he was in love with). He side stepped the question and then said "end of discussion," which always pisses me of. First and last time I ever emailed him. I've never emailed him, but I imagine Leo Rautins would be the exact opposite of Chuck. He'd probably send you a 2-page essay in response to a simple question.

Chuck's never been one of those guys that can make a solid counter-point when someone goes against his opinions.

I emailed about this pic i did. I was tryin to get him to put it on the air, i know leo would of if i got it to him, cause hes always talkin about Chucks tattoo he has on his back. Chuck thought it was funny lol
For everyone bashing Chuck, it's stupid, he's a sick announcer and passionate... better htan having those old guys on other stations that don't care and are just a pain to hear... Chuck rules, he can get annoying but who isn't when you hear them every game... seriuosly people
I'm sorry, but I'd prefer a commentator that actually gives some insightful information instead of randomly yelling supermarket products on the air after something happens. I've never heard a non-biased and informative game commentated by Chuck in my life. He's only out there to point of the obvious and be somewhat politically correct, although when he does have some sort of different view from others he tends to back it up with very little reasoning.

He's only out there to point of the obvious and be somewhat politically correct, although when he does have some sort of different view from others he tends to back it up with very little reasoning.</div> all the home team announcers are biased. its because they are employed by the team. chuck isnt nearly as biased as some of the other commentators iv heard...the boston guys, laker guys, and cleveland guys are all WAY more of homers then chuck is. i like chucks enthusiasm and he isnt out there to drop a bunch of insightfull analysis...thats not his job, so frankly i dont care if he's got the best mind for the game. his job is to do play by play, and imo...he does a good job at it. The fact that he has a bunch of inside jokes with the viewers just adds a bit of flavour to his style imo
