Big game here, teams are going back and forth so far. Dont want to head to utah on a 3 game losing streak the way the Jazz have been playing.

Biedrins 3 point play [IMG] I love the big guys getting and1 fouls and making the free throw. Also +++'s for offensive rebounding and shotblocking [IMG]

Baron hurt his ribs the game before the last Denver game and it's probably bothering him. I've had that happen once and it doesn't go away until after a week or more. It hurts to shoot when that happens.

    He's out for the game.

that sucks, if only he could give the other players the flu also maybe we could spare ourselves the beating we are getting.

that steal from melo to close the 3rd was just horrible, very careless by the Warriors.

Let's see if Warriors can stop Denver for less than 35 pts in one quarter for a change. We are shooting 58% from the field and down by 17 pts...

This sucks. The guards are ignoring the hot hand inside the paint. That one guy #4 keeps chucking the outside J a la Derek Fisher.

What a horrible game so far, duck. I think if Biedrins wasn't getting a career high, I'd turn it off. The Nuggets can't figure out how to stop Biedrins. Maybe they forget he likes to go left? Or the Nuggets know that our guards are taking us out of the game.

Wow Biedrins got 7 turnovers? Man.

Yep -- I could see that coming in the second quarter. The Warriors had NO inside presence on defense -- I mean Eduardo Najera was looking like Charles Barkley down low. This is exactly what I expected coming off the loss to Denver on Wednesday. Until the Warriors can get some big bodies who like to play inside, they won't be able to go toe-to-toe with the more physical teams. Even though the Warriors took the lead once, and scored a bunch of points, they were really never in this thing -- it was a laugher.

edit: also, Denver owned the freethrow line tonight: 28-35 (80%) vs. 15-24 (62.5%)

I wasn't really expecting the Warriors to win this game, especially after I found out Baron was out, but it's disturbing because they were never even really close (I know they closed it to a few points at one point, but I never felt like the Nuggets were truly threateened). Hopefully that's not a sign of how they will play on the road.

Monta was not aggressive tonight. He didn't have a terrible game but was something of a non-factor. He only played 28 minutes, which is odd since he only ended up with 4 PFs. I have no idea why Nellie sat Biedrins for the first 9 minutes of the game, that's what allowed Denver to get out to that lead in the first place. I guess tomorrow night we'll find out if it was just the mountain air that caused the Warriors to be flat, they did seem tired on the whole.

The Warriors just look terrible with the starting front court of Murphy and Dunleavy. The Warriors will not win with so many turnovers and the lack of defense from the back court. No Baron, a sick Pietrus, and an injured Ike Diogu and Jason Richardson do not help this team's cause.

No -- although given the injury circumstances the reserves held up pretty well -- Barnes had 21, and Beans had a career night, and they did manage to put up 129 points. Still, it's strange because they scored so well and yet it was such an ugly game to watch... weird

Damn, that guy is not an inside guy at all. He took a three and it was just awful shot selection.... I mean who cares about his skyhook shot, I'm worried about his brains.
