how is that realistc, there getting jefferson and nothing much for garnett, they dont need another sg /sf in wright cause they have foye and mccants, davis, and hassel,

it would proabably need to be nenad jefferson cap fillers than like 3 firsts

I forgot about Nenad. However I think, they would take Jefferson or Carter if it was offered in the deal.

Do you have any trade ideas?

 

not really, maybe Jefferson and Mciness for Iverson? its obvious we need another scorer to compliment Carter idk maybe even Jermiane Oneal idk

its gunna be vince/jefferson and nenad for like oneil garnett, iverson i tihnk is realistc i dont really mind we need scoring, not to many big names are out there, other than iverson garnett and oneil. maybe Antwan Jamison ??? i wouldnt wanna give up vince/jefferson for him though

We need a big men, not Jamison. Iverson is gonna be in Philly, and personally I don't want him here. Great guy but not meant for the Nets.

Realistic trades! You really think Orlando would give up Dwight? They would have to be smoking something.

 

ima get bashed but maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea trading a kidd for garnett type deal. williams can ball and maybe giving him garnett vince and jefferson he will improve

He has played on great game but he is not an elite point guard. Believe it or not, he still makes those rookie mistakes. I think trading Kidd would be a mistake

And Kidd would raise hell on the Nets. Afterall he has done for them, they ship him for a player he wants to play with. That would be messed up.

Worth a try. I'm just posting trades I do in Live or 2k7.

 

Realistically, we would have to give up a lot for Garnett. Maybe Krstic/Jefferson or Krstic/Carter and a couple of draft picks. But it's really a long shot. Trading Kidd would be a bad idea. Williams will be a great player in a few years time. But he can't replace Kidd yet. But I think a trio of Kidd/Garnett/Jefferson would be more successful than a trio of Kidd/Garnett/Carter. I just don't know how the ball will be divided between the two of them. And if either is willing to be the second option. I'd hate to loose Carter, but I think Jefferson won't mind being the 2nd option. But really, a tandem of Kidd, Garnett and Carter would be awesome.

If you add Kidd,3 rd ones,you'd perhaps have a top 4 bid.

Seriously...The Nets have 3 main players. Carter's short contract means teams will see him as a rental. kidd's age and salary mean he's a short future boost to a top 8 team-not suited to the average and below teams. Jefferson is marketable but he is a well rounded guy-not a stunning talent in any one area,a SF,a fairly big contract and not a guy anyonr thinks will get much better than he is. He is not enough to get a superstar or a high upside big man. Kristic is a fairly good player but not high on anyone's wish list. Kristic + Jefferson still won't fetch a major star-more likely a lateral move. Maybe NJ adds some of the misc. bench guys and gets a package that adds some depth,youthful upside,but replaces R Jeff with a somewhat less talented guy.

The big problem is that the REST of the Nets roster is just a bunch of guys that for most teams won't even upgrade the bench. The Warriors have 2 new walk ons-off the scap pile,Roberson and Barnes. Roberson may be our best 3 pt shooter,he could score 10+ as an off the bench guy. Barnes started vs UTah...outscored their whole starting front line-was the games leading scorer.
I doubt we'd swap either for anybody on the Nets Bench except MAYBE Boone.
Not having much bench quality makes it real hard to create a trade for a top player.

what do you expect i didnt want to say anything but it is a shitty trade, its pretty much jefferson for garnett

I wanna get this thread going again.

 

I would rather not have AI. Him and Vince are two big scorers and I don't think one will wan't to shoot less than the other. Then RJ would wan't some touches and so would Krstic, so I don't think it would work unless we trade Carter for Iverson, or RJ and Krstic for Iverson.
