We lose 109-100 after making Kevin Martin look like Kobe Bryant. What makes this worse is that Sacramento was without Ron Artest and Brad Miller.

    Box Score

Bob Hill used a line up to begin the fourth quarter of Mike Wilks, Earl Watson, Mickael Gelabale, Damien Wilkins, and Nick Collison for the first 5 minutes. In that span Sacramento turned a 6 point lead into a 13 point lead. I have absolutely no idea what Bob is doing with his rotations but when Rashard Lewis and Luke Ridnour are playing well they do not need to be benched for two players who are not in the rotation -- especially in the fourth quarter.

It doesn't help our desire to remain in Seattle when we can't get a significant home win. We are 2-4 at home and are .500 on the road. The crowd would cheer if they had something to cheer about. Ray Allen needs to make a concerted effort to defend b/c the trend has been to attack whomever he is guarding the past three games.

Playing San Antonio on Sunday doesn't help either. This forum needs a little bit of life. Not too long ago we would have never gone two games without a recap.

I was at the game last night and man, Kevin Martin was tearing it up. We got there about an hour before tip off and Allen, Farmar, and Wilks were shooting around. Allen's jumper was way off during that time. He shot two airballs with no one guarding him and many of his shots were bricks...way off. Something seemed to be wrong with him last night.

We also stopped going to Lewis in the second half. The lineup Shiek was talking about was crazy too. Wilkins keeps thinking he's 'Nique, the guy just guns every time he gets the ball. The only two guys that were playing were Nick Collison and Chris Wilcox. We needed to get this win, especially since the Spurs are in town tomorrow.

My friend was watching his first Sonics game and his comment: "Wow, I'm glad they're moving to Oklahoma."

Rashard just stopped shooting the ball in the second half. He absolutely tore up the Clippers and Tim Thomas two nights ago as we ended their homestand, and carried it on again with 19 first half points without Artest. What happened in the second half? Did he just stop shooting or did we just stop going to him? There aren't many guys who can stop him one on one if we isolate him.

As an aside Shiek, you must be pleased to see Biedrins doing so well? Dropped 31 on Denver last night and is arguably the best shotblocker in the league right now.

It was a bit of both. We stopped going to him, and when he did get the ball, he passed it up.

Absolutely shocked that he is able to score consistently in the league. Without post moves and a consistent 10 foot jumper it amazes me that he is able to score as often as he does around the rim at the percentage clip that he is. He has a great nose for the ball and he is an exceptional rebounder on both ends.

When I played with him he was only 15 years old. I saw a ton of potential in him but not a 30+ per minute game player in the league. Shows what I know. I thought Flip would be a starter in the league by now.

I was counting. Shard TOUCHED the ball twice in the third quarter during plays. They stopped going to him, but he just sat in the corner and waited for the ball. Luke, Ray and Earl penetrated a couple of times, but Lewis never moved to the level of the ball and the ball handler ended up in the air with nowhere to go. The couple of times he got into the post he was manhandled by Salmons and Shareef and couldn't get position. Luke threw him the ball, but he couldn't get to it and it went out of bounds.
