its getting sensational, here's the play by play: http://www.nba.com/games/20061124/TORATL/playbyplay.html at 4:33 in the fourth quarter- the score was 86-78, ford hits a layup and the score should have been 86-80, but they don't count it and the score remains 86-78. this of course changes the course of the rest of the game, i.e the raptors having to foul. fyi- people say they have watched the tape and conclusively determined this happened and i as well don't remember ford missing anything until that final layup before he fouled out.

I recorded the game on my PVR (which by the way is amazing...iv watched SO much bball this season so far) and went back and checked...he did make a layup at 4:33 tsn and chuck were reporting different scores at one point...it was really hard to keep up. I remember saying to myself "wtf is up with the score...what is the score anyways". BRUTAL! This only happens to the raps

This only happens to the raps</div> yeah this isn't a theory- everybody seems to ackowledge this happening. apparently the scorers table lost power for 6-7 minutes according to internet rumour.as i said in the game thread- raptor players, coaches and officials should be held accountable for not reacting during the game.
Iv emailed chuck, and talked to someone at the score. Iv put this in the hands of the media, so its up to them to take this further. hopefully something comes from this, but I have a feeling nothing will

Have you thought that maybe it had to do with TSN and had nothing to do with the scorers table at all. They were having trouble on multiple occasions. If chuck and leo were reporting different scores during the game, it seems that maybe the score on the scoreboard was correct but the score on tv was wrong....
I had it recorded. At 4:33 85-78, then the hawks hit a free throw, and the point is accidently added to the raptors, and its 85-79. Then TJ hits the jumper, and nothing is added to the score. After that, the hawks hit a jumper, and the correct score is fixed for the hawks..88, but the raptors score remains 79, when it should be 80. THen Bosh hits 2 free throws and only 1 point is added. The score is now 88-80, when the correct score should be 88-82. When Tj ford hit the 3 pointer near the end of the game, the score reads 95-93, when it really should be 95-95, and the raptors would never had to foul. We got robbed.
If the Raptors miss playoffs by one win, then it would be bad. Or Atlanta makes playoffs by 2 wins over the Raptors. But it might not be an issue considering how the season is playing out so far.

If chuck and leo were reporting different scores during the game, it seems that maybe the score on the scoreboard was correct but the score on tv was wrong....</div> no it was tsn at all- there was a discrepancy between the scoreboard and the play-by-play i posted. the boxscore credits tj with 25 points when he actually earned 27 points, there is also a rumour that the play-by-play thing i posted was adjusted after the game. nevertheless, tj never missed that bucket at the 4:33 mark- premium confirms this btw.

I wonder how this will be resolved. My guess is nothing will change, it wouldn't make sense to give Toronto the win imo.
I doubt any correction will come of this ... but I think they at least owe the raptors an apology and someone at the scorers table should be fired. Losing points in a professional game like this is unacceptable. Oh just to throw some more fire on the conspiracy theory: The spread was listed at 3 or 3.5!!!!
