Warriors return home tonight -- Baron could be out again. At least it's only Utah..... wait, uh, Utah? Yikes!
I think Baron is expected to be out, so it's up to the kids again. Andris needs to start IMO and play big minutes if we are to have any chance at winning this one. He needs to be in the game for 35+ minutes. One thing I like about his game in Denver was that he was not relying on guards to create shots for him, he was creating his own in traditional post-up play. Secondly, Monta needs to be aggressive right from the start. I didn't see that from him in the last game and he was not much of a factor. Yes, it's nice for him to work on his point guard skills, but right now with the injuries, we need his scoring and we need him to set the tone for the game. Third we need Dun to continue his pretty good play of late. If MP is out that's even more true. Not much you can say about JRich except hopefully he won't try too hard to take the game on his shoulders alone and make bad shot selections. In the end it'll probably come down to freethrows and rebounding, as usual for the Warriors, where they and Utah are on opposite ends of the scale, the Warriors at the short end, naturally.
Beans got those kinds of shots against Amare also! Last night was his coming out party. My opinion is when you have a center who can dominate, you must get the ball to him every time down the court like Shaq or Yao. They dont always have to take a shot, but when a center can get points off post ups inside the perimeter defenders start to sag in and open up shots for the guards outside...

FSN+ is channel 410 on comcast digital. Well, Beans has 9 pts, 8 rbs and 2 blks at halftime. Dude is in full gear. But McCleod -- man, this guy is looking just like Derek Fisher a year ago -- I thought he would be a "conservative" point guard who would just run the offense. But hah! This guy slows it down, waits way to f**ing long to pass, and is shooting like he thinks he's Jordan! Dude -- you gotta get your ass up court and get rid of the f'ing ball!
