Chuck Hayes is AWESOME....plays good defense, plays smart, finishes well around the basket, and moves well without the ball
<div class="quote_poster">ownage Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Well on the plus side, Novak might have a chance to show JVG what he can do.</div> Same thing I was thinking. Who knows? I really hope we go on a couple of those 8 game winning streaks this year or even more. I remember T-mac and Yao's first year together, we had an 8 game winning streak before the All-Star Break and had one after then a 7 game winning streak to end the season. Booo yeah.
C.Hayes will only have problems with the upper class of NBA bigs. I have yet to see anybody outwork him or out right dominate him. I thought he was really missed late in the San Antonio game. I like that TMac is not forcing bad shots because he has started slow, and is going to the basket and racking up assists. Its good to know he doesn't have to score 30 every night to win, but to compete with Dallas S.A. Utah he has to be hitting shots late in games. Just a matter of time. Yao's dominance is getting expected from him every night. Late in games I think he suffers because TMac isn't hitting shots and the doubles come stronger Anybody that watched this game would have to be conviced that getting Shane for Stro and R.Gay to put around TMac and Yao was the right move. Hater or not, and Shane didn't even put up great numbers, but his effect on the game is constantly felt. If TMac is going to run Point, Start Luther head. He needs more shots. Skip could work comming off the bench.
Chucky will D up Garnett!!!....Garnett doesn't strike me as a "power" forward, I've seen Kenny Thomas shut him down before, I'm not too worried about it.
Also remember that Chuck Hayes is a great post defender. He might be a great post defender, but he has to play smart because Garnett has all kinds of moves he can do. So Chuck needs to play his D and just play a little smart.
