TJ Ford 16.2ppg, 4.3rpg, 8.3apg Ford is coming off a solid game against the Hawks. With Bosh on an off night, he stepped up as a scoring option for the Raptors. Look for Ford to start scoring more as the Raptors desperately need a second scoring option for Bosh. [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/fred_jones.jpg[/imgl]SG ? Fred Jones 12.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.6apg Fred Jones has been struggling lately. He's been making some bad decisions on the offensive ends, that he'll need to fix. Fred Jones needs to take it hard to the basket more instead of forcing a shot, or taking 3's. Look for him to have a solid night against his former team. FrontCourt [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/anthony_parker.jpg[/imgl]SF ? Anthony Parker 10.0ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.8apg Anthony Parker has been very quiet lately. Parker is a great decision maker and a team player. Parker will be matched up tonight against sophmore Danny Granger. Look for him to take advantage and get back into a groove as a veteran against a young Granger. [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/chris_bosh.jpg[/imgl]C ? Chris Bosh 21.1ppg, 12.3rpg, 2.0apg Bosh seems to have been struggling lately. Maybe he's been feeling his foot injury, but whatever it is he'll need to get back on track. Today, Bosh will be matched up against Jermaine O'neal. Jermaine is stronger than Bosh so Bosh will have to out work him and use his quickness to his advantage. [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/jorge_garbajosa.jpg[/imgl]PF ? Jorge Garbajosa 7.2ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.6apg Jorge Garbajosa has been promoted to the starting lineup and seems to be successful. Jorge is coming off a great night against the Hawks. He has been successful on both ends of the court as he draws charges and is a great help defender and hitting open shots on offense. Keys To Game Bench ProductionIndiana has a very thin team and the Raptors need to take advantage of that. They don't have much of a bench, and when they get on the floor, the Raptors second floor unit will have to take advantage and continue to play hard. Look for BoshBosh will want to come back strong after struggling the past couple of games. The Raptors will have to aknowledge this and find him downlow. Bosh has a quickness advantage on Jermaine O'neal, and the Raptors need to get the ball to him. Jamaal Tinsley 11.1ppg, 4.1rpg, 6.3apg Tinsley has been hot lately averaging 18.3ppg and 7.3apg over the last three games. Today Tinsley will have the task of defending the lightning quick TJ Ford. He will need to keep up with his speed, stay in front of him and keep him away from the basket. [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/rawle_marshall.jpg[/imgl]SG ? Rawle Marshall 3.4ppg, 1.0rpg, 0.4apg Marshall is not much of a scorer but his main job tonight it to force Jones to take bad shots. He needs to do whatever it takes to keep Jones from driving and make Fred a perimeter shooter. Look for Marshall to pressure Jones on the perimeter tonight. Frontcourt [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/danny_granger.jpg[/imgl]SF - Danny Granger 10.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.4apg As a rookie, Granger got limited minutes but showed he had the potential to be a good player. This year he has a starting position and he'll need to prove to the management that he deserves it. Today he's matched up against Anthony Parker. Look for Granger to be a 2nd or 3rd option of the Pacers. [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/jermaine_oneal.jpg[/imgl]C ? Jermaine Oneal 18.5ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.6apg Jermaine Oneal is another player thats been hot lately, averaging 26ppg and 10rpb over the last three games. He's been playing a ton of minutes, and he'll be matched up against a quicker and faster Bosh. Jermaine needs to keep up with Bosh's quickness, and try not get into foul trouble. [imgl]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/al_harrington.jpg[/imgl]PF ? Al Harrington 18.5ppg, 9.2rpg, 2.6apg Al Harrington has been a solid addition to the Pacers but he has been struggling lately. Today he is matched up against Jorge Garbajosa. Harrington should try to take Garbajosa to the basket on offense. Al needs to stay with Jorge at all times and not allow the Raptors to give Jorge open looks. Keys To The Game Force Perimeter ShotsThe Raptors seem to get a lot of their points driving to the paint, and getting to the foul line. The Pacers need to deny entry into the basket and keep them outside and force guys like Ford and Jones to take outside shots. Make Smart DecisionsThe Pacers cannot afford to make bad passes or get stolen from. The Raptors thrive on the fastbreak and they'll be looking to force Indiana turnovers. If the Pacers make smart decisions and protect the ball, there will be no fastbreak oppurtunities for the Raps.
Prediction: Post them below

prediction:raps lose 91-78, the raps are booed off the court; mo pete goes public with his trade demand after the game. nevertheless, chuck bashes the pacers throughout the game for their lack of professionalism
Who do you think is a better PF? Bosh or Jermaine? better international player Yasekevikus (sp?) or Anthony Parker? better pg lineup Tinsley/Yasekevikus (sp?) or Ford/Calderon TJ seemed like he had a really strong game against Atlanta. 25 pts, 12 assists, 8 boards. Garbajosa 15 pts, 12 boards.
bosh is pissing me off, garbosa is amazing, we should have gone with the pornstar slogan, but u guys don't listen.
Great fast break, Bosh halfcourt pass to Jones, nice bounce pass to Garbajosa.
deception Wrote

bosh is pissing me off
Why he's gotten 2 or 3 offensive boards, and a nice left hand off glass shot, the dish from Garbajosa. I don't know why Bosh is setting up on the right side of the screen, just because he doesn't seem to be comfortable there and that is where he got blocked and threw a really high shot. On the left side he was doing better. Rasho with a reverse. I'm always surprized when he gets one of those. Bargnani is really showing his ability to his those long range 3s.

Bobcats Wrote

42-19 Raps. Bargnani off to a very nice start.
yea definitely, for 5 minutes the offense was very smooth and every shot was going in. Now we just need to not slack off and maintain or expand the league.
caledron is a general. i can't believe mitchell just took out the euros for bosh and ford. nothing against ford, but bosh has been playing like crap.
i respect bosh playing with an injury but he can't force shots especially when the team is doing well around him. the same thing happened in the atlanta game, the raps had the lead, then they forced into bosh and the hawks made their run. btw- who's going to yell at bosh? since mitchell took off the euros, the pacers have made their run and now they are only down by 6.
^^ Bosh's need does seem to be affecting him some. Wow yea, I can't believe its gotten to a 6 point game by 5:10 in the 3rd.

I think it would be good to experiment with Bargnani, early on he did quite well. Especially because he is an unusual player to guard against. 7 footer who can shoot 3s, but also drives. The only thing could be I don't know how much stamina a 7 foot rookie could have, he'd probably tire out if he is used as the go to guy on 4 or 5 consecutive plays. Joey Graham with the emphatic slam! I'm glad the Raps lead is back up to 9. Raps 70 Pacers 61 end of 3rd.
sarunus has been really disappointing for the pacers- they desperately need a perimeter shooter and he isn't giving them anything. btw- jose caledron is a great leader!!! again the euros' cushion the lead for the raps, of course with a little help from joey g.
If Joey G can be a guy who crashes the boards like he did the last 2 plays, he could deserve some playing time. It would still be nice if his jumpshot improves. I think the offense has run better today through Calderon. Joey Graham had a fast break dunk from Calderon. He just crashed the boards on the offensive end and gets to the foul line. If he were to crash the boards on the offensive end that would be really useful for us. I think Fred Jones has been really solid for us so far, he has gotten some steals, made nice passes, made layups and a 3, just solid overall. - Bargnani is so unorthodox, with a funky layup. - Although I've liked what Calderon has been doing, I think Calderon is tired, Ford needs to come in.
