I took her to our favorite park in town and we had a camera with us to take pictures of the animals. When I had some time alone I took pictures of the ring from different distances and then when we were back together and walked some more she decided to take a look at the pics I took. After browsing she came across the far distance picture and I was like, "hey what's that?" She already knew what it was from the start I assume, but continued to look more and then I proposed. However, she didn't see the proposal coming at all, so that's good.

    23. I think AllNet is a year or so younger?

Congrats to both of you guys! Everyone I know is getting hitched lately, you two are #9 and #10.

Do you plan to start a family right away or wait a few years?

To answer the question, by the time I get married I will be 22. Some may say thats very young but not when we have been togeather for quite a while and really I have done more than most 30 year old's have done already. Before anyone says something of a sexual nature I'm talking about travelling and work.

As for starting a family? Already got one. My girl and I have a daughter togeather as a few may already know.

I'm not really looking to add another for a while. Although the first wasn't planned so you never know these days.

Although when we do have a 2nd child I want It to be a boy. Would make It abit even and I don't think I could deal with two girls. The day when they would both reach 18 I likely wouldn't have much hair left.

A son on the other hand I could get into basketball and If he is anything like his dad he will be a big one.

Congrats, Allnet! Easily one of the most knowledgable, realest guys on this site... and have been since about the time the site first went up... got a lot of respect for you.

And congrats to M as well! (BTW - Long time no see, what's new bro'? I got that Venus album... AMAZING... thanks for the rec) Great proposal too. I'm always worried that when (or if) I choose to propose I'll pull something stupid or something won't go right... must have been nervewrecking.

    Great news all around! [IMG]

BTW - Schaddy, what's the latest w/your girl. I hate to pry into your personal life like some kind of online stalker, but just curious, because I remember you breaking the news recently as well.

Nothing new for me, just did some climbing in the mountains and took plenty of pics. I posted a few in a thread, did you check that at all? A page or two back now. Going to a rugby match next month and I'll be taking some video of it as well. Great seats at middle front row only 31 Euros. As for the proposal, yeah it was nervewrecking. Though I wasn't sweating from being nervous I felt my knees buckling.

I'm sure you'll pull off your proposal right when you decide to one day anyway. Glad you like the Venus album too and be sure to check their other stuff too. I also posted new stuff in the thread for music I put up way back.

Speaking of this whole marriage ordeal, my girlfriend the other night pretty much came out and said that she can't see herself marrying anyone but me at this moment. I pretty much feel the same way, but there's no way engagement is in the relatively near future at the moment, cause I'm not even thinking of that right now.

I hope that's not your only gift for her because that isn't considered a Christmas present, bro. At least get her a perfume or something else she'd like to give her. Trust me on that.

Actually it's quite ingenious on Premium's part. He'll never forget the date he proposed to her. Girls love to ask those random questions when you least expect it.
