<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Six-time All-Star Tracy McGrady has assumed a new role with the Houston Rockets, and the results have been outstanding.

McGrady and the Rockets look to win their fourth straight game when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday at the Toyota Center.

Houston (9-4) has won eight of its last 10 games, and defeated Memphis 85-76 on Saturday behind another stellar game from McGrady, who finished with 19 points and tied his career high with 13 assists.

He's averaging 19 points this season -- six below his career points per game -- but is also averaging 6.7 assists, more than two per game above his 4.4 career mark.

"It's fun to see your teammates want the ball on the other side," McGrady said. "I take a lot of pride and passion in doing that. I'm trying to make these guys better."

Yao Ming has benefited most of all from McGrady's passes. The center scored 28 points against the Grizzlies, and is averaging 26.4 points per game -- four more than last season.

The Rockets improved to 5-1 at the Toyota Center with Saturday's victory, after being tied with New York, Portland and Toronto for the worst home record last season at 15-26. </div>

    Yahoo! Preview

Sorry for not properly doing a preview guys, I have a bunch of tests this week.

HAHA Bill Worrell just said the game was on FSN Houston while being on channel 2 (51).

The Wolves just came off a loss last night to Dallas. It was close, but they shot poorly from the 3 and FT line. Mike James v Rafer Alston (and J-Ho) should be interesting.

I hope we win this one and go 10-4 [IMG]

By the way, we have really fallen off lately with the previews (except for Mag and blueracer, and anyone else I forgot to mention.) I guess finals/midterms is every Rockets fan's kryptonite.[IMG]

EDIT: What the hell is wrong with T-Mac now? He was holding his hip or stomach as he left the court. He can't make ups some excuse everytime he has an off night. I am really beginning to think he is as weak mentally as everyone makes him ot to be. He gets down on himself too easily.

    KG is wreckin'

Yeah baby! We won. Great 3's by Alston and Battier. Alston stepped up in the 4th and good job on closing this game out, but again we let them come back when we had a big lead, but I am glad we finished it good.

    Good Win by the Rockets.

Is it just me or does Randy Foye remind you a little bit of Dwyane Wade..

Not long at all, definitely. He was on bench during clutch time for Wolves while Foye was making plays on the court.

At first I thought the same thing and agreed with your post.

<div class="quote_poster">THE DREAM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">^^^anyone who steps into the hell hole known as the toyota center wearing the opposite colors deserves it....it's our job.</div>

Then I read Dreams post and agree with it. Maybe thats part of the reason the Rockets are 6-1 at home (the Spurs are use to being in a very loud environment.) We are 4-3 on the road.

I agree Howard out and Novak need more playing time. It's funny how our leads tend to slip away everytime Hayes exits the game and Howard enters.

GO ROCKETS! PHOENIX IS GOING DOWN!

C.Hayes played well, matched rebounds with KG. He doesn't have a jump shot but the way he moves to the basket keeps the D honest or he gets a lay up.

Yao is a monster, and L.Head is shooting lights out.
Late in the game the Shane effect became tangible and in the forefront for all to see his value.

TMac's shooting is still bad, but his playmaking is good. He needs a shooting doctor.

Man Rockets lucked out not getting M.James. Let him stay in cold ass Minny
Good job to anybody giving him hell at the game.

Phoenix is a test for every team. It takes a quarter to get use to their speed, and you have to hope your'e not down 30 by then.

We need Tmac to beat Phoenix. If we dont get tmac to play, at least Bonzi might. If we do beat them without tmac, then im speechless.
