I feel that there is something wrong with our man kobe... i mean in the last 2 games against the Nets and the bucks kobe seemed to throw up bricks in the 1st half... he seems to try to put the game away early... and his FG% suck 8-24 and 7-23??? i mean come on, what happened to "letting the game come to him"... And now his FG% is back to normal at a mere 43 - 45%?

All i can say is... whats up with him?

I know he can bounce back for this slump but what worries me is that the lakers should be around 11-3 as of now and should really take advantage of that 15 home games out of the 1st 20 games... after that it'll only get harder for the lakers... Remember Bynum predicted a 15-5 start?

I heard ya feeling man. I also very disappointed with Kobe lately as well. He doesn't seem to play smart lately. He kept setting for outside shot a bit too much. Like today, down by 3, and wtf a bad 25 foot jump shot when there was still 9 seconds left on the clock? That almost made me wanted to jump up and slammed the TV today [IMG] .

But ya know, we can only hope Kobe will bounce back which he will for sure and ride on his back again. He is our leader, we win with him or die with him. [IMG]

Even Jordan was not perfect close to it but not perfect. Now's not the time to push the panic button on the Lakers.

I think he's just adjusting to find a balance between the game he play's. He's either to defensive, passing too much or he's taking bad shots too much when he can pass. Once he finds a way to consistently find a balance between the two, we'll be a stronger team. I think he'll get their soon.

IMO the perfect equation is that:
kobe would avererage something like 28/5/5
    odom 21/10/8
    luke 12/5/3
    kwame 10/10/2
    bynum 15/9/1

If these would be their averages for the season then were a lock to win the pacific.

With those stats, your getting 39 rebounds just from the starting line up. Sometimes, teams fail to get that many rebounds in total. I could care less about Kobe's stats, as long as he finds a role in the team that makes us win, whether it be shooting alot or passing alot, I'm happy. Right now, his role is to find a balance between the two, although he still needs to share some of the scoring load, although not as much as normal. If we can feed the ball into the paint to Bynum, we'll win more games.

THe problem was Smush. Yesterday game against a weak Zone that could have been attack easily. Farmar showed it in the second half. The Lakers settled for to many three pointers 37 total. And the bigs should have scored at least 40 points. The problem was that they werent getting the ball. I can believe a professional team like the Lakers couldn't score 150 pts on the bucks.
And on defense Smush was getting caught in the picks and not rotating well.
This type of loss will haunt at the end of the year trying to win the division.
