Oh yeah baby. Sorry for not believing in Rockets, but GO ROCKETS!! Kick some tail. We have the lead by 2 74-72 with a Tmac jumper.
Damn, thanks God I was sleeping during he 1st half. BTW, even if he just made 5 straight pts, T-Mac is simply pathetic and we can't win this match.
Since this thread is pretty active, can I get some help on homework? What does negative growth(in population) mean? What does a declining workforce mean?

Just when I thought they would pull out of this with a win, the Rockets lost all their energy that got them the lead in the third, and starting chucking up threes. Its pretty obvious we're going to lose now. McGrady really needs to work on his shooting. When Yao was in foul trouble, we really had little offense going on, and I think its part of McGrady's job to carry the scoring load when Yao sits. He's a good playmaker, but we still need some better shooting from him.
Rockets have been depending on the 3 point shot too much. Although we've been winning having such a dependency on a low percentage shot is ridiculous. Tracy has been very dissapointing, he's disappeared in stretches and refuses to take the ball to the rack, we will not make it far in the playoffs with him playing like this.
We were overdue for a loss I guess. The way we have been playing this season I am surprised we are not 5-10 instead of 10-5. If the NBA is going to give us a back to back game it shouldn't be against Phoenix...I feel two faced. Lebron, and Baron are next. At least we get some rest before then. On the bright side SA lost today (to the Jazz). We are still only one game behind. Damn, if we won today we would have been first in the division! EDIT: Anyone find out why they took away two points from us and gave them to Phoenix in the third? I really think that long break the officials took in the game screwed us over bad. We had all the momentum on our side and then they took a long break to screw us out of some points, so the Suns went on another run and left us.
I was right in my prediction that when the Suns win it would be a double figure lead. The Rockets needs be consistent in the fourth. The outstanding 3rd quarter effort was almost useless when the momentum stops right after taking a 74-72 lead early in the 4th. The Rockets were also outrebounded by 19. TMac should make good shot selections although he would miss, he should time it when there are rebounders on the post. They even shot more attempts than the Suns but poor timing and rebounding positioning were a big factor. To the moderators and igotask8board thanks for including my keys to the game and predictions to the starting thread. I was about to post earlier but almost forgot about it when I have to babysit my nephew.
^ No prob. I found it: http://www.nba.com/games/20061129/HOUPHX/playbyplay.html Look at 3:45 left in the 4th. The announcers said something was wrong and the officials never fixed it. Yao Free Throw Technical (17 PTS) 3:52 [HOU 60-64] 3:45 Marion Foul: Personal (2 PF) Yao Free Throw 1 of 2 missed 3:45 Yao Free Throw 2 of 2 (18 PTS) 3:45 <font color=""Red"">[HOU 61-66] </font> Well I see what they did. They fixed it, but the long break killed a lot of our momentum.

The long break may have stopped the Rockets momentum or chance of staying close to overtaking the Suns. Instead of keeping their energy/activeness on the peak it has gone down with the long intermission.
We were obviously tired in this game, the Rockets just did not have their legs under them, tonight. On the road for a back to back, the Rockets had some traveling to do as well, from Houston to Phoenix. I thought they might win, but that was an understandable loss. It was good to see us fight back from down 22? Yao played well, T-Mac still needs to find himself.
Well this is our best start to the season in 10 years. 10-5 for the month of November. Dallas is the division leader, SA is second, and we are third. I wonder what first tastes like?
Does anyone else think that Yao was underused in this game. In the first quarter, the Rockets had some success passing the ball to Yao, than having him pass to open cutters and shooters when he got doubled. He got all 3 of his assists in that quarter. For some reason, they didn't get the ball to Yao more. Yao had a very productive 3rd quarter (13 points) when the Rockets were cutting into the Sun's lead, but in the 4th, it didn't seem like he got many touches. They went away from him to chuck up 3 pointers. T-Mac is really stinking up the place. In fifteen games, he has shot 50% or better only two times. My confidence in Mcgrady's ability to win games have slowly been diminishing to the point where I don't want him to take any jumpshots at all. Either drive to the basket or create a play for someone else.
It's funny that everyine thinks the ref-point situation was a momentum killer for you guys. Because all the Suns announcers as well as myslef believed it only helped you guys catch your breath-- We were not happy about it. And as far as T-mac, Anyone want to give props to the amazing D from Shawn Marion. T-mac did drive it to the lane a few times and Marion rejected him. I just don't think your style can compete with the suns, unless you force your slow tempo. This is all but impossible to do against the Suns and that is why it is so easy for us to beat teams like the Rockets or the Heat. We forced you guys to play our style, had the Rockets stuck with their game plan and just ignored the usual first quarter burst the Suns always have then maybe they would have fared better. Consistency is the key, we played the same way start to finish it seemed like the Rockets tried twenty different methods, and mixed in their actaul gameplan only a couple of times. GL in the future

Sure we were tired from yesterday, but it didn't show in the 3rd Q. The Suns regrouped and retaliated coming out of the long break, and finally started hitting shots. <div class="quote_poster">*Scotch Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> And as far as T-mac, Anyone want to give props to the amazing D from Shawn Marion. But we all know McGrady is *use to be* one of, if not the most talented players in the league. Once he gets going, no one can stop him...with the exception of Tayshaun Prince, who is the only player to give McGrady problems each time they visit, but they don't play each other enough for him to be considered a "McGrady stopper." I apologize for the rant. <div class="quote_poster">*Scotch Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> I just don't think your style can compete with the suns, unless you force your slow tempo. We were 2-2 against them during the 04-05 season so I know the Rockets can beat the Suns. And I also agree with you when you say the Rockets changed up too much. Novak should not have started to begin with. Everytime he was in the game, the Suns went on a run. We will see which style of play wins games come playoff time.
