<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PORTLAND, Ore. -- Going small hasn't led to the type of success the Indiana Pacers envisioned.

One thing it has led to, according to Pacers coach Rick Carlisle, is careless turnovers.

That's why Carlisle decided to scrap his small frontcourt for more height, even if it sacrifices the team's attempt to get out on transition.
Carlisle added Jeff Foster and Stephen Jackson to play alongside Jamaal Tinsley, Jermaine O'Neal and Al Harrington for Tuesday's game at Portland. Foster and Jackson replaced Rawle Marshall and Danny Granger in the starting lineup.

"Starting with size is something that's important if you have it," Carlisle said. "I thought starting smaller would make us a better running team. It's made us a little more careless at times with the ball. I wanted to address that. Hopefully it also addresses our rebounding situation a little bit."
The Pacers hope the new starting lineup -- the third one in which Carlisle has replaced a player this season -- will help energize them at the start of games and help with their rebounding problems.</div>
