<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The one constant in any interview with Pat Riley is that he remains measured in his praise of Dorell Wright.

Tuesday, there was more of the same.

First, Riley said he never was tempted to trade Wright during the teen's first two seasons.

"No. No. No," was the answer.

Well, what else would you expect a coach to say?

Asked if he was glad he didn't, Riley offered: "It took two years for him to develop. We had a very veteran team, so he knew it was going to be a matter of time. So now it's time, and I think the time has been well spent in developing him.

"He still has a long way to go, a long way to go. Teams will begin to adjust to him and what he does. And then, we'll see if he can take the next step and adjust to the adjustments."

Recall, Wright was drafted before the Heat acquired Shaquille O'Neal.

At the time, the plan was to field an athletic lineup, with Dwyane Wade, Caron Butler, Lamar Odom and Wright.

Yet with O'Neal now on the downside, there still is the future promise of Wade-Wright.

That said, even with Jameer Nelson having his moments with the Magic, the Heat might not have flopped in the 2004 draft, after all, as some have contended.</div>

Dorrell Wright is freaky rebounder that reminds me a bit of Tracy McGrady. He's quickly becoming one of my favourite youngsters out of high school.
