At least he's still trying to make the comeback. He's a respectable player and i hope he makes it back to the league soon.

The dude lost his career, and his dreams. It's a miracle he's able to even play casual basketball never mind in the NBA. You have to respect the steel this dude has to try and comeback. And if you want to talk about respect, then what about Carter? If you're going to talk about breaching contract, I don't see how tanking and dogging your way to getting traded is any better. In fact; it's a lot worse.
Jay Williams was a good college basketball player. He should at least be given another chance in the NBA.
I thought it was really stupid that Williams had to make a mistake like that and practically lose his career, but i still respect the fact that he wants to make it in the NBA and prove alot of people wrong. He was one of my favorite players his rookie season and still probably would be if he didnt get hurt.

I went back to my hometown to watch the kid play and thought of him something special. But he apparently doesn't respect rules of his contract and it's hard for me to say it, but I don't respect that. This isn't like Bob Hurley when he was hit by a drunk driver, this is Jay Will, thinking he's above his contract obligations, buying a motorcycle and riding it. Big Ben at Pitts is learning the same lesson. I can't respect that he had it made and in his hands lost it on his own. And as sad and cold it is to say, he really has no options but to try to make it back to the NBA. He can do ESPN analyst work for so long, but other than that he has no other option.
