Randolph was playing defense when he landed on the foot of Andre Iguodala.

Randolph averaged 4.5 points and 4.2 rebounds and started the last six games in Chris Webber's absence.

He went undrafted following a three-year career at Duke.</div>

The 76ers could have used him in the first place.

this team is just completely falling apart. i didnt think it was possible, but we actually have a thinner front court line than before.

Why wouldn't it be possible? It's not like we went out in free agency and signed someone who could drastically change up our front line, and we didn't draft one either. Guys like Webber and Dalembert are injury prone, so yes, the chances of us having a thinner front line than before is high.

    Surgery Successful

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> forward Shavlik Randolph underwent successful surgery on his fractured and dislocated left ankle and will be sidelined for 3-to-4 months.

Dr. Enyi Okereke performed the surgery late Thursday night at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Randolph was discharged from the hospital on Friday.

The injury occurred when the forward's foot landed on that of teammate Andre Iguodala's in practice on Thursday.

Randolph has averaged 4.5 points and 13.8 minutes in 13 games this season.

Sounds horrible, especially this quote [IMG] <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I saw players just running around and screaming," Philadelphia coach Maurice Cheeks said. "It was something bad. I've never seen anything like it in my life."</div>

So in other words, Randolph will be out for the season most likely, probably even if the Sixers make it to the post-season [IMG]
