I see Rasho getting minutes tonight. We're going to need someone to guard Eddy Curry and Bargnani's definitely not up for the job.

Maybe he got 0 rebounds. banana</div> I won't lie, Bargnani looked terrible on D last night. But lets be clear about what we're asking him to do. First, we have him gaurding + boxing out everyone from the 3 to the 5. Our wacky zone d has him out on the perimiter guarding small forwards. We're not putting him in a situation where he's going to look good on defense. Bargnani so far looks like for a rookie he's decent at: post defense, altering shots.... and he sucks at: boxing out, rebounding, help d. And if we're on the topic of boxing out i'd argue that practically everyone on our team is terrible at that. Now I know someone is going to point out that bosh gets a ton of board so he must be good at boxing out right? Well ... IMO Bosh is good at getting in position to grab the rebound, but not necessarily boxing out his man. When Bosh doesn't get the board under the basket he usually ends up in some terrible position and his man scores quite easily. Edit: I'd also note the defensive coaching deficiencies are going to look way worse on Bargs then they are on the rest of our team because he's coming from europe where the system is quite different and he's relatively inexperienced. Our brain dead leader thinks that key to defense is trying hard ffs.

Why don't you admit it already that you hope Bargnani is a bust because everything you say about him is negative. From now on, you can just start your post with "Morrison is great and he can score and it looks like Bargnani is a bust". Save yourself and everyone else some time.

He dosen't look good on d, and he isn't a good rebounder....yet. I hope he does develop and does improve....but saying that he is anything but terrible at d and rebounding would be a lie. I'm a raptor fan since day 1, i hope he gets better. I'm just trying to be an objective fan. Hopefully in the long run Bargs can be a much better player then Morrison, but right now, he isn't. Thats all i'm saying.

It doesn't matter how he plays, to you Morrison will always be the better player. It seems like you're still angry that BC drafted Bargnani over Morrison. I think you want him to fail just so you can say "we should have drafted Morrison". A fair assessment? You are entitled to your opinion though.
