You gotta admit, Shaun Livingston did a nice job on Kobe last night with those two blocks. I can't wait for the next meeting and I hope Dunleavy makes the mistake of starting Livingston on Kobe.</div>

Yeah, I know they were being sarcastic, which I find funny since Kobe scored 29 points. Anyways, I really like the play of our second unit. Remember in the fourth, when both Kobe and Odom (who was in foul trouble) were resting on the bench? Our second unit extended our lead to 12. I really like the depth of this team, and with Vladmir seeming to return to form, I think this team can really be dangerous

    PS: Smush sucks

Yeah the 2nd unit pushed the lead from 8 to 12 with the trio of Farmar-Sasha-Radman. It looks like Farmar and Radman have some nice chemistry on the court and play well off one another. Farmar hit that clutch baseline floater up against the shotclock. That basket was big for us.

Smush was getting abused by Cassell. He played smarter than normal last night offensively, but his defensive efforts need to improve. How can you not stay in front of an old man like Cassell?

Didn't Cassell score 16 from 16 shots with 5 turnovers? The stat line implicates Smush done a solid job with the defense on the old alien. I guess when you hold Kobe to 29 points, you've done a decent job. Every time Kobe doesn't score 40+ you've played your part well. [IMG]

Trust me, Cassell owned Smush last night, the boxscore doesn't tell the entire story. Most of those turnovers weren't caused by Smush either.

I said this during their last meeting, that Smush played better D on Livingston and Vujacic plays better D on the smaller guards like Cassell.

I will say that the traveling violations on Kobe, most of them were called on him even though he was fouled or tripped.

    So yeah.
