Game Time: 7:30pm TV: FSN Bay Area Radio: KNBR 680 This should be a win for the W's, even with injuries and even with Redd's insanity. Would be nice to go on the road trip with a win. I think it's throwback jersey night too, gotta love that.

Keep them separate at all times! </div> Why does this always happen. I just picked up Dunleavy in my other league after a good stretch of games. And tonight I get basically a blank stat line. Damn you Dunutthin!
As long as Murphy flounders on defense without so much as a drawn charge and can't hit the three, Dun's going to see action again real soon. Besides Dun is more active moving off the ball and setting up players. Murphy does not do that. He's a catch and shoot player like Fisher, except he rebounds and doesn't make much defensive effort. Murphy IMO gets other players around him in deep foul trouble. Dun is different in that he would actually help out.

I'm too distracted right now. This game is a nailbiter. BTW expecting Dun to be a consistent stat producer is like hoping Antoine Walker shoots above 43% from the field and hits 70% of his free throws.
I think the same happens when Baron tries to shoot a three. I swear should he be shooting those? It's a bad sign when the Warriors' best player on the floor is Troy Murphy, but he doesn't do anything to make the team better, especially on D.
LOL -- the Warriors have just fizzled out like a soggy match. Blah edit: and what's up with JRich? he's a bench player now, or what?
I swear it's always something with this team. I think we lost this game long before Barnes fumbled the rebound.

Pietrus and JRich were complete no shows tonight -- I think the team plays worse when they play a team they "think" they should beat. They didn't play with any sense of urgency or display a killer instinct at all. And they shot way too many threes (10-31). Michael Redd was 13-17 from the free throw line. The Warriors as a team were 16-20. Including team rebounds, GS was out-rebounded 60 to 42. But they had a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter, and just fizzled out with lame-brain turnovers. ?
Every game counts. These two losses -- which should have been wins -- make the difference between a 44-38 record with possible playoff ideas and a 42-40 record with an eye on margaritas and draft picks.
We have a young team, so we have to win these winnable games early in the season. It's like we didn't have a go to guy in the 4th Q. Monta came closest to being that guy.
Yeah, it's awful... I'm so jaded, I can't even rant or vent about our losses like the angry maniac I usually am over ugly close games. Man... At least Murphy had a good game and so did Biedrins and Baron. Young teams tend to lose down the stretch. Maybe the formula is to have Biedrins out of foul trouble, Dunleavy moving the ball from the high post and making guys think twice about driving on him (because of drawn charges) and actually shooting well from wide open. Then we need to have Pietrus not being a basketball doofus always making mistakes. Richardson playing efficiently like he had been doing when healthy. And finally guys playing together as a team that doesn't stand around on offense and doesn't get each other into foul trouble on defense. Everytime our guards try to gamble on steals or try to man up too closely, they go right for the middle and poor Biedrins has to protect everyone... sucks. Having Barnes helps, but I dunno. Somebody has to do something to stop Redd from getting to the foul line like he does. It needs perimeter and interior D. Layers and layers of defense. We also plenty of athletic guard rebounders, but they didn't rebound for some reason. We know Pietrus had the foul trouble, Jrich was playing awful, and Dunleavy isn't really that good at rebounding when he's acting all soft. We'll just have to count this as one of those off-games like Utah and San Antonio considered us as off-games because we beat them when we shouldn't have.
