And either way, there's nothing I love more than seeing a team like them that doesn't play any road games for the first month and a half lose at home. I didn't know you'd become such a fan

I can't wait until we get our ass kicked at Marquette Side note - cruise over to PSH and see how my Badgers are getting ripped apart for not playing a strong schedule. I suddenly feel the need to point out every other shortcoming of everyone else's team Besides, you remember last year then that Cuse fan got all pissed at our rankings? I've got to admit I haven't liked Cuse much since then; it hasn't hurt them in my rankings, but on a personal level I just don't like 'em. It's no big deal.

One loss, and to Michigan, and they're not even mentioned as a top five team over the likes of LSU who played no one outside of conference play. The SEC is extremely overrated. In nonconference action, most of them play teams like Southern Miss, Central Florida, and Western Carolina and then drop a crucial conference game to a team that lost to Georgia (yes, Florida, I'm talking about you) and still expect to be mentioned in title conversations along with Michigan, a team that's beaten Notre Dame (on the road), Wisconsin, Penn State (on the road), and whose only loss has come by three points on the road to the consensus #1 team in the nation, Ohio State. Anyway, about Cuse... their team last season was overrated as hell. But all of those underachieving headcases they had last season are starting to get with it this year and play to their potential (Watkins, Roberts, etc.), and Devendorf has really emerged as one of the better players in the Big East. And even though Paul Harris is coming off the bench, he's probably the best freshman in the Big East and a total workhorse on D. I really think this team's legit, good schedule or not.

And I'm not trying to claim UW is getting a raw deal - I've said on both JBB and PSH all year that I personally dont' think Wisconsin football is much better than the 8th or so best team in the nation, so I'm not lobbying for them to play in Pasadena or Glendale, I'm just trying to get people to quit calling us overrated, you know? It's very frustrating to have your team set a school record for wins, overcome the loss of a legend at coach, and hear nothing but bad things from people around the country. Are we higher than we should be in the top 6? Could be, but if other teams hadn't lost to move us up, we wouldn't be there, so I'm not going to apologize for us being ranked highly this year. And besides, we'll probably get our tail handed to us by the Hogs so everything I've said will be a moot point anyways I hate that Michigan or Florida is going to get shafted tonight. I'm calling for a stop the the BCS right frigging now. This crap ain't working, and the only losers because of the system are the kids that go out there and play their ass off to get a shot at the title. That's not right. It's a damn disgrace. I'll have my rankings in later tonight, there's still some big games, so I don't want pencil USC into the title game only to have 'em lose to UCLA, ya know?
I was just checking some team's win-loss records, and noticed that UConn is ranked #15 in the AP Poll Also, there's been so many upsets and all I don't care anymore who I drop or don't drop; these are the 25 best teams IMO, whether I ranked 'em last week or not. 1. UCLA 2. Pittsburgh 3. UNC 4. Ohio State 5. Texas A&M 6. Alabama 7. Gonzaga 8. Wisconsin (I don't want to rank 'em this high, but now our convincing win over FSU looks pretty friggin good! ) 9. Wichita State 10. Duke 11. Florida 12. Washington 13. Oregon 14. Memphis 15. LSU (I may regret this) 16. Virginia ( I guess now the only teams that can move up by going 1-1 are UNC and Virginia, eh VC? ) 17. Arizona 18. Nevada 19. Kansas 20. Butler 21. Syracuse 22. Missouri 23. Marquette 24. Florida State 25. Purdue

Neither Notre Dame or Wisconsin have beaten a ranked team in or out of conference. There's no way in hell that you can compare schedules, because Florida's is better in so many ways, even with the "crap OOC that we scheduled". Yes I do expect the Gators to still be in title contention even losing to Auburn. You say they lost to Georgia, but they are the only team in the nation to beat 2 Top 4 BCS ranked teams. (no matter how lucky both were and both were on questionable calls) If the ref actually watched the play rather than guess what Chris Leak was thinking during the play we might not be having this conversation right now and the Gators would be 13-0. Not just because I am a Gator fan, but if Florida got left out it would have been much worse than if Michigan got left out. Florida has the better resume, has the better stats(yes, better offensive stats despite playing 5 top 25 ranked defenses), so there shouldn't be a reason why anyone can say that we aren't deserving enough to make it. Seriously why do you hate LSU? I think LSU is probably better than Florida to be honest with you and are deserving of the #4 ranking. I was really looking forward to the Michigan/LSU Rose Bowl, but with USC losing it won't happen. There's absolutely no reason for anyone to say that Wisconsin or Notre Dame(especially Notre Dame) is better than LSU.
mine, too. Anyone notice that the AP has UConn #10? And we've got 'em #25...on only two peoples' lists Once again, the national media proves that they are nothing more than glamor school sackriders.
