RECORDS: Magic (13-4), Clippers (7-8)

    PREDICTION: Magic: 100, Clippers: 92

MY TAKE: I think the Magic will come out crazy hot, dropping like 31 in the first quarter and taking a 10 point lead into the second quarter. They are riding a 6 game winning streak, and are currently on pace to win around 60 games. If we get 50, I'll be satisfied. Dwight Howard will have a monster night, as he always does against another good big man. The guards will have to step up and play well against Cassell and Mobley. The Clippers are 7-2 at home, but the Magic have proven that they can win on the road as they're 6-3 so far this year. If we lose out the rest of our trip, we'd have gone .500, which is what I was hoping for, but then again I didn't know we were going to win these first 3. A win in this game would guarantee a winning road trip record, something we haven't had on these long west trips in years, and would also give us more wins than we have had on our west trips in the last 4 years combined (3-27). Also, if we win this game by a lot, and Dwight plays only say around 32 minutes, along with the rest of the starters, it gives us a better chance at beating Sacramento on Monday, as we won't be as fatigued. Good luck, and Go Magic.

We are struggling mightily on defense and Clippers are having a layup drill. They've got 51 points with 6:30 left in the first half. We need to show some energy on defense. Dooling is the main offensive threat right now too.

    We lost..

They needed an astounding shooting night and a monster game from Tim Thomas and Elton Brand to beat us so I'm not too shaken from it.

Elton Brand always has games like this.

We lost by 25 points. Don't sell the Clippers short. They played very well.

Clippers just flat out outplayed us. We played bad and I still stand by my statement that a 3-3 roadtrip would be a very successful one. Gotta look towards Sacramento tomorrow night and we can't dwell on this loss.

The Orlando guards took too many shots in the game, instead of feeding the post. One thing I noticed about Howard last night, he always posts up on the sideline and not in the middle of the paint. He needs get more touches in the middle of the paint to create better spacing.

The few times he got the ball in the post it was on the baseline side and the Clippers sent an aggressive double team to force him to cough up the ball. No one slashed down the lane and going deep into the shot clock, there was no time to repost Howard.

Orlando only got to the line 19 times last night, that's a sign of lazy offense or maybe just a tired offense. 4 games on a road catches up to you.
