ok maybe im a little late with this, but is anybody else surprised??? i know i was hoping for them to make it, but i was sure as hell surprised when i heard they were nunmber 2 in the bcs and got a chance to play ohio state...all i can say is good luck and lets see what we can do, should be a good game
It was cool, because all week i have been saying that UCLA was going to beat USC and Florida was going to play in the championship, and now I am right.
SEC Champs!!!! I'm just happy we get a shot and I really truly believe that the more deserving team got a shot(not to undermine anything that Michigan has done)

Any predictions for the game?</div> I'll just say that the game will be a close hard fought battle and I would likely pick the Gators with the spread(opens at 7.5). Urban Meyer is something ridiculous like 15-2 in his career given more than 1 week of rest. He is one of the best game planners in the nation. The scary part is that the Gators defense will actually be healthy for the most part. The Gators D has played banged up the entire season and a healthy Brandon Siler, Earl Everett, Tony Joiner and a healthy DL could be scary. Right now there is only one thing that really worry me and it is the battle in the trenches on both sides of the ball. If our defensive line can't get to Troy Smith we will be in for a long day, because I really don't like McCollum having to guard one of the big 3 WR's for OSU. On the other side our OL will have to protect Leak. All we will hear is how OSU dominates Florida in everything, but don't sleep on Florida because we can beat any team on any given night.

Thornton is a stud. Just remember Noah was coughing up his lung on the court and we didn't have our lockdown defender(Brewer), so take that into consideration before you start talking FSU up. Those aren't excuses, because you just flat out beat us, but don't expect to beat every top team you play. Oh and I called that Toney Douglas would be the player that puts FSU over the edge and into the tournament.
im surprised the gators played that poorly.. I knew without brewer they would be losing a key player but wow it still was a huge upset. Noah did look a little off also did u see him start pushing the fsu fans as the stormed the court? Thornton is amazing and is pretty much the whole team
