<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chris Bosh, the Raptors all-star forward, missed practice yesterday with an inflammation of his left eye. You'll forgive Bryan Colangelo for sounding slightly on edge. "It's kind of scary," said Colangelo, the Toronto general manager. "The guy wakes up and (experiences) this light sensitivity. It started (Sunday night). He woke up (yesterday) and it was much more of a problem. "He can see. He's just hyper-light sensitive." Colangelo was speaking before he knew the results of Bosh's trip to the eye doctor yesterday afternoon. A club spokesperson said an examination revealed that Toronto's leading scorer, rebounder and shot blocker is thought to be suffering from a virus in his left eye "similar to pink eye." The club said Bosh was put on medication yesterday and will be re-examined today before his status for tomorrow's game in Cleveland can be determined. Morris Peterson practised with the club yesterday, the first time he has participated in full-contact work since he was sidelined with a torn tendon in his left elbow Nov. 22. And though there is a chance Peterson could return for tomorrow's tilt in Cleveland, he said he'd know more about his elbow this morning. "I'm not going to say I can play (in Cleveland), but hopefully this week I'll feel better ... I want to be 100 per cent."</div> http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentSe...ol=970081562040
It's practically a loss for the Raptors if Bosh cannot play. Bosh's shoes are too big to fill, and last season's final games after Bosh broke his hand are a perfect example of that.
<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">How cool would it be if Bosh played basketball while looking like a pirate?</div> black pirates? didn't know they existed. anyways, i believe i had pink eye when i was 7 or something and it really isn't that bad from what i remember. i could remember waking up and thinking i had gone blind cause i couldn't open my eye lid and i ran over to my mother and somehow she was able to open it a few minutes later. i went to school that day but the teachers sent me home cause they thought it was contagious so i got to miss school for a couple days which is sweet when your 7 i may have also got some medication prescribed by my family physician as well.
