Ok so me and my mate are arguing lol seems only reason i post here. So you have atriangle offence, do you want a point guard who shoots the three dead-eye? or one who cuts hard to the basket?

For the triangle to work, making hard cuts to the basket is a necessity. Three point shooting is important, but since the triangle is predicated on player movement, I'd think that's the priority.

The key to the Triangle offense is having a low post presence who commands a double and triple team.

Your choice also depends on the type of defense you would be facing. If a team uses a zone against the Triangle, you'd prefer a 3point specialist to spread the floor and bust the zone.

If a team plays man to man, then you'd want an effective slasher and a player who understands how to move without the basketball.
