<u>WHO: </u> <font size=""7"">VS.</font> <u>WHEN:</u> Wednesday, December 6, 2006; 7:00 <u>WHERE:</u> Conseco Fieldhouse; Indianapolis, IN <u>TV: </u> <u>RADIO: </u> <u>STARTING LINEUPS:</u> <u>PG:</u> <u>SG:</u> <u>SF:</u> <u>PF:</u> <u>C:</u> <u>COACHES:</u> <u>RECORDS:</u>Magic (14-5), Pacers (9-10) <u>PREDICTION:</u> Magic: 92, Pacers: 87 <u>MY TAKE:</u> This will be a great game for the Magic to show the league one more time that they are for real. No Magic team has ever gone 5-1 on a west coast road trip, so this is an opportunity to go into the history books, I'm sure coach pointed that out to the players. This is also a tiebreaker game, if we win this game, that means we will at least have a .500 record vs. Indiana at the end of the season regardless of what happens in their next game. Dwight needs to play big once again, and I think that Jameer's confidence is sky high right now, after that shot against the Kings. Hedo needs to continue his good play and if the bench can give us the production it has been giving us most of the early part of this season, I think we will pull this one out and put ourselves 10 games over .500, somewhere we haven't been since Shaq left (I think). <u>KEY GAMES TO WATCH:</u> Toronto @ Cleveland Washington @ New York Philadelphia @ Chicago Atlanta @ Denver BOLD- Needs to win, to help the Magic
Nice preview. Too early for scoreboard watching. This is a huge letdown type game. You come off of an emotional 4-1 West coast trip and realize you are going home after this game. This is a huge trap game. It could go either way.
Good preview d-money. I'm really pumped about tonight's game because Dwight always does good against other good big men (Jermaine O'Neal). Also, we lost to the Pacers earlier in the season (mainly because of our turnovers) so this game has revenge written all over it. It'll be interesting to see how our team comes off of their West road trip but Gators has a good point, we can't get comfortable out there. I'm looking forward to gametime and I should be in here posting throughout the game. Let's try to make this thread really active throughout the game like the game threads were earlier in the season. We're one of the best teams right now and there is a lot to talk about. Let's show our support for the number one team in the East. "When we step on the court, we think we're supposed to win now,'' said Jameer Nelson. "We go out with a little swagger, and we do whatever we've got to do to win."
Grant Hill is playing amazing right now! 14 points in the first quarter. He looks like Detroit Grant! EDIT: Dooling is out with back spasms so Redick has been activated. Maybe we'll see JJ later.
Oh crap, I didn't even realize the game on. To study for finals and not watch the Magic, or not to study the finals and instead watch the Magic. That is the question. Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of... not watching the Magic. Blah blah blah. I've made up my mind, I'll study at halftime! Nice preview, but does this actually count as part of the "West Coast road trip"? I'm quite content with 4-1 either way.

Friday night we are back home against the Pistons on Dwight's 21st birthday! EDIT: Also, why is Tony Battie shooting jumpshots? He's attempted at least 3 jumpshots today from outside the paint when we could be getting much better looks. Stop shooting Battie, your on the court for rebounding and defense!
Hey, we're gonna lose. At least we get to see Redick. If he could hit a few threes and get us back into the game it would be great for him HAHAHAHA, BO!
<div class="quote_poster">Chuck Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Hey, we're gonna lose. At least we get to see Redick.</div> My thoughts exactly. Hopefully he plays for the rest of the fourth quarter.

Still love him though. I can't watch the game, I don't know what channel it's on; on the site it says it's on "My 65" whatever that is. The only games I get to see are the Sun Sports ones and the National televised ones, which sucks.

If Dwight had made that dunk, we would actually have a chance
Guys, don't you just love when Matt Guokas says something stupid, and Steele politely and quickly corrects him and tries to move on to the next subject? He just did it twice. Hahahaha.
Redick for three!!!! EDIT: That soothes the pain after that terrible loss. The Pacers always kill us.
<div class="quote_poster">Orlandoman Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Every time Battie takes a jumpshot I'm thinkin "Damnit, don't take those!"</div> my thoughts the same. It seems like they want him to settle on that shot, almost like thats his range or something..i've yet to see him hit those consectively. Battie is probably the only person that has disappointed me this year on the team.. it seems ever since we have been winning and d12 has gotten some respect he has fell of the earth...i havent seen any threat in the paint or any effort really on either side.. to me it seems like he just gets out of the way because howard is there..thats just my opinion though
wow, maybe it's better i was at practice instead lol...i have a feeling Detroit will have trouble against our frontline
I hate to say that I told you so, but I'll take a 4-1 West road trip and a 4-2 roadtrip any day of the week.
<div class="quote_poster">d-money12 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">wow, maybe it's better i was at practice instead lol...i have a feeling Detroit will have trouble against our frontline</div> I don't know. We have been on the road for 12 days now and I think coming back home will be really good for us. We are 7-1 at home this season and our team will be glad to be back at the O-rena. Also, Friday is Dwight's 21st birthday so expect him to come out pumped.
