yes, but you could put average players around those 2 and win titles....Hakeem won with a supporting cast of Otis Thorpe and Vernon Maxwell (I love those guys, but they weren't "great" players)

He would be swatting shots and getting deflections on one end, and Jordan would be streaking the other way in transition and getting dunks. He might have actually scored more points with a talented defensive big like Hakeem on his side.

That would put him up with the greats such as Larry Bird, Moses Malone, and Magic Johnson. Only three players have won the NBA MVP award 3 times in a row - Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russel, and Magic Johnson. Steve Nash, imho, should not be mentioned in the same breath as those players. The Wizard's MJ was hard enough.
