I honestly believe that the rockets could've pulled off at least 10 titles with a MJ/Hakeem combination

yes, but you could put average players around those 2 and win titles....Hakeem won with a supporting cast of Otis Thorpe and Vernon Maxwell (I love those guys, but they weren't "great" players)

Tru dat THE DREAM. Jordan didn't need Pippen. He would have had Hakeem. That would've been nasty. Maybe Jordan wouldn't have exploded as much though. Who knows?

Nah, Hakeem wouldn't have needed that many shots. He would be swatting shots and getting deflections on one end, and Jordan would be streaking the other way in transition and getting dunks. He might have actually scored more points with a talented defensive big like Hakeem on his side.

I know, it will be wierd to see him playing alongside Melo, too bad we have to wait 15 games for that.

Iverson with Melo. That's an interesting duo. Too bad neither of them don't like passing up the ball.

In a game against Atlanta the other day, Utah amazingly scored 7 points in a single possession!

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
10:34 76-95 Speedy Claxton bad pass (Ronnie Brewer steals)
10:33 76-95 Salim Stoudamire clear path foul (Ronnie Brewer draws the foul)
10:33 77-95 Ronnie Brewer makes free throw
10:33 78-95 Ronnie Brewer makes free throw
10:22 81-95 Derek Fisher makes 28-foot three point jumper (Mehmet Okur assists)
10:22 81-95 Lorenzen Wright shooting foul (Derek Fisher draws the foul)
10:22 81-95 Derek Fisher misses free throw 1 of 1
10:19 81-95 Carlos Boozer offensive rebound
10:07 83-95 Carlos Boozer makes layup (Andrei Kirilenko assists)
    </div>

Brewer got a steal and had a clear path foul. He made two free throws, and the Jazz retained possession. Then Fisher hits a three and is fouled. He misses the free throw, but Boozer gets the offensive board and makes the layup. Wow.

^Wow, that's got to be a first and last, but hey records are meant to be broken, right? I don't think so this time.

If Nash gets the MVP for a 3rd time I will be damned. That would put him up with the greats such as Larry Bird, Moses Malone, and Magic Johnson.

Only three players have won the NBA MVP award 3 times in a row - Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russel, and Magic Johnson.

Steve Nash, imho, should not be mentioned in the same breath as those players. It sucks that he has more MVP awards then great NBA players such as Hakeem, Shaq, and David Robinson.

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN CRAZY!!! Thanks for that info durvasa, but I just can't picture MJ in any other uniform besides a Bulls one. The Wizard's MJ was hard enough. I don't think he would have thrived as much under any other coach either.

Matt Bonner? Wow, now I know why a lot of Toronto fans hate Sam Mitchell. Where was Morris Peterson?

I got one. Up until tonight, the Rockets lost 17 straight on the SA Spurs home court. The Rockets, without T-Mac, blew the Spurs out by 19 points and the Spurs never tied or lead the whole night.
