<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">They've tried? Wtf are you talking about. What exactly did Billy King do in the off-season to improve the Sixers? Absolutely nothing. The Sixers have not tried at all to give Allen Iverson a core that he can win with. It's just about time he finally decided he's had enough with this organization</div> Iverson doesn't get a free pass here. He's never been able to co-exist with another scorer and ran the 76ers best coach, Larry Brown, out of Philly. Iverson makes a lot of false promises after a disappointing season. How many times has he said he wants to be a better playmaker and get his teammates off? Shoot less and pass more? He tried it early this year and the Sixers were 3-0. He took higher percentage shots, and didn't force his offense. Then he went back to volume shooting and the 76ers are back to losing. The 76ers also made several moves to improve the team with Iverson's blessing. They traded for Webber, resigned Dalembert, they brought in Mo Cheeks. Remember this famous quote "I will run through a wall for Mo Cheeks." Well apparently he forgot to mention, after he runs through the wall he's going to keep on running to another team. I know Philly fans want the best for AI, and Knight hasn't done enough, but Iverson deserves equal blame. He is a tough player to build around and hurts the development of young players. The owner of the TWolves said his team couldn't afford Iverson, so I doubt they trade for him unless they can unload a handful of bad contracts. As a Laker fan I don't want to see AI and KG team up because it creates another potential playoff opponent who could bump us out. If Minnesota DOES NOT bring Iverson in, and with Iverson demanding a trade, will this set the light bulb off in KG's head to do the same?
Are the T-Wolves trying to keep KG? If so, I wouldn't be to surprised if they did TRY and make a move for A.I., this might make both players happy and keep KG in Minn. and crush the dreams of 'KG to L.A.' fans.

They did acquire C-Web in hope that both AI and C-Web would melt them into a championship contender, but unfortunately it never happened. It was Iverson's game that can't be co-exist in most team's systems. Also with this AI demanding a trade, I think it will trigger KG to pull one off soon if the Wolves fail to acquire AI.
