They will supposedly try out no cap in 07, hell has froxzen over in my opinion. 2006 will be capped, but they just had Jeremy Green and some other dude talking about how theres no cap in 07 I hope I m misunderstood what they were saying lol. Well reactions?
This absolutely retarded, in my opinion. The face of football is being ruined because of all this utter bullshit. They are making a big deal of getting teams below the cap by tomorrow, but yet, after these teams cut some very talented people, they are pushing for no cap next year? This is screwing over every team in the NFL, in someway or another. At this rate, the NFL is going to fall off the map. Granted, alot of football fans don't pay attention to the offseason, but petitions need to be started, or something needs to be done, because they are ruining the best game/league in the world. I don't even know what to say right now, I'm power pissed.
Im pretty calm about for the pure fact that I know that it wont become an MLB type thing. I hope atleast........some might throw more money then others but besides arizona being cheap, I see the rest of the league staying with the same parameters +/- 5 million. The cap is already high as hell.
The point is with the current system along with a max cap there's also a cap minimum & w/o a cap next season teams can refuse to spend anything if they so choose.
They'll get one back in 2008. They'll learn from the mistake. I don't see this being long term. It's probably short term in my opinion. I don't like it but I see it being fixed after 07.

I thought they ran he and the vanilla wonder out of town long ago? Alot of the stalling & posturing is about IMHO is Big market owners vs small market owners.
Boy, are the Redskins going to be a roller coaster ride the next few years. Snyder's next corporate sponsors will be drg companies as he will need all the Lithium, Valium, & Xanax he can get. One thing is certain Snyder won't need any Viagra. He's already a giant ****. ROFLMAO.

Green??) where they were talking about generating revenue streams.

well they shoulda dealt with this a number of years ago wait to go procrastinate !!!!!!!!!!! its not gonna be a complete disaster but will flip flop players and they'll be even more pampered lets whip there bum alittle more lol j/k but I do feel we need a cap... to have the paradies of the nfl... thats a a great site to watch cause ur never gonna know who'll pan out maybe an abysmisal team from last yr from 4-12 12-4 how great is that!?! as long as its not the bengals they can go off and lose lol.... but anywho i know its not gonna be like mlb AND the YANKS AND SOX but its kinda a a disappointment.... they need to compromise and get it done!!! i just dunno why they wouldn't have looked at this i mean a yr or 2 ago but maybe thats not the way it works i dunno..>! tsk tsk......
My overall view on the affect this will have is this: Teams that have manygood players under long contracts will not have too worry. Ofcourse I am going to use tehgiants as an example. They have Eli, Shockey, Barber, and Plaxico all under long contracts. With their main players in place there will be a couple of roster changes here and there but the core will remain the same because of the planning they idd for the future. Now teams that have a lot of 1-2 year contracts just to get "under the cap" will go crazy and over pay the free agents in the market, but because of most teams wrapping up their young prospects through long contracts thee wont be anyone good on the market under 28, so its like flipping a coin. Heads the guy breaks down because of age or he doesnt play up to his contract, tails he plays well.
Dynasties will be a lot more common. Bill Belichick made one with the free agency; picture what coaches like him can do with no cap-deadly. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Titans_Buckeyes)</div><div class='quotemain'>At this rate, the NFL is going to fall off the map. The last thing the NFL needs is their own version of the New York Yankees. If the owners knew what they were doing, they would realize pretty quickly that getting rid of the salary cap will hurt the overall league, although big-market teams may not care as much. Two days left.

There will be lots of dynasties. Look what Bill can do with free agency, can you imagine what he will do with no cap. He will be a sho gun.

As long as they are making playoff appearances every year, right? Lol.
