Depends on how many centers the East plans on carrying, and what they qualify Dwight Howard as. Ben Wallace, Shaq (reputation), and then Howard
So far here's the amount of votes for Eastern Conference Centers: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Centers: Shaquille O'Neal (Mia) 522,815; Dwight Howard (Orl) 415,708; Ben Wallace (Chi) 216,443; Alonzo Mourning (Mia) 65,255; Andrew Bogut (Mil) 46,178; Zaza Pachulia (Atl) 39,921; Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Clev) 38,590; Nenad Krstic (NJ) 33,459; Samuel Dalembert (Phi) 30,744; Nazr Mohammed (Det) 30,078.</div> Was Curry even on the ballot?
Curry would probably make it on the reserve voted by the coaches. ASG is just a popularity contest anyways. But how the **** IS ZAZA getting votes?
Zaza isn't horrible. The East's center rankings are like this, IMO: 1. Dwight Howard 2. Eddy Curry 3. Andrew Bogut 4. Alonzo Mourning 5. Nazr Mohammed 6. Zaza Pachulia 7. Ben Wallace 8. Nenad Krstic (shouldn't be considered a center) 9. Zydrunas Ilgauskas 10. Samuel Dalembert
Zaza isn't all that bad. He's putting up roughly 14/8/2, but I'd take Curry and his 11-game 20-point streak over him.
I dont think he'll get it. Even though he has been playing great the past 8 games, I still think he is not good enough to get it. There are atleast 3 centers who I for sure know people will vote for out of Centers in East. They are: Shaq, Dwight, and Big Ben. I think they only need to take 2 centers. East has a lot of strong 2's and 3's who will bump out spots for the AS Team which will give Curry a smaller chance.
