One source of offense can come out of pick and rolls and attacking the baskets for easy buckets and with the fire-power the Sixers have with Iverson and Iguodala, it should come easy for them.[*]Contain The Perimeter ? The Wizards as a team shot 14-20 from 3-point land at New York with Arenas and Jamison leading it, which kept the Wizards out in front. If the Sixers are able to get their offensive production, they need to force the difficult shots at the other end because the Wizards will beat them by trading baskets.[*]Rebound ? This is one thing that slowed the Bulls down against the Bulls having a -14 ratio on the boards. The Wizards aren't a very good rebounding team, so the Sixers need to take advantage of getting those offensive rebounds and getting second chance points.[*]Force Turnovers ? In order for the Wizards to control the tempo, they must do what they do well by stealing the ball and getting the fastbreak points on the other end. Contain Allen Iverson ? With Allen's ability to score from anyway and anyhow, the Wizards need to keep a close eye on him and stop that first penetration to slow him down. Force him to take low-percentage shots and keeping him out of the paint will help the Wizards win this game.[*]Stay Out of Foul Trouble ? Washington was lucky that the game against the Knicks was over, before they could find themselves in the hole with Arenas gambling with 5 fouls and 3 others with 4 fouls. The Wizards aren't known for fouling, and everybody will need to play cleanly because they can't afford to put key guys on the bench.[/list] Prediction: Wizards over Sixers 103-93 Will's Prediction Record: 7-6 (Wizards over Bulls, 98-92)
I would like to say the sixers will win because they match up fairly well with the wizards, but im just tired of sticking up for philly. their team really needs to prove that they are a legitamet NBA team or everyone is just going to walk al over them.
Nice preview Will637. You should have a fun night watching your three-some of Gilbert, Jamison, and Butler torch up the Sixers defense. Might as well get some popcorn ready and a soda and find somewhere comfortable to watch the game. You should have a fun and relaxing night, considering the Wizards will without a doubt defeat the Sixers
Thanks Brian. With AI demanding trade, does it look like it's going to be the downfall of the Sixers' season?
maybe, maybe not. maybe if iverson leaves the rest of the young guys will step up and have more of a team oriented offense. maybe then igoudala will score more. I would like it if iverson got traded because philly would still be my favorite team with all their young guys, and iverson would still be my favorite player, hopefully contending for a championship.

With AI demanding trade, does it look like it's going to be the downfall of the Sixers' season?
Downfall of the Sixer's season? lol. We were already on downfall many many weeks ago. This team is not going anywhere. Anyways, like I said, it should be fun to see "the big three" torch up the Sixer's defense How I laugh at Billy King's pure stupidity, and his ability to still retain his job

Korver is heating up. Sixers up big. lol. Wouldn't it be funny if we went on a winning streak without Allen Iverson?

Although, there is a better chance of Chris Webber competing in the dunk contest than that ever happening. Anyway, Chris is playing well but he looks like he needs a hug.
Gilbert!!!!!! Great effort and job by the Wizards to cut a 20 point margin into 4. They've been getting the ball out of Korver's hands, they've been creating turnovers and getting points on the hand. The Wiz in the second half need to be finding better looks on the floor because we're shooting at 40% percent right now, get second chance opportunities off the offensive glass and create more of those turnovers, if we want to win.
113-98 After leading by 20 points, we still somehow managed to let the Wizards back in, and we still somehow managed to get blown out by 15 points! Things like this can only happen to us
The Wiz definitely picked it up offensively in the second half and controlled the boards. DeShawn Stevenson has been shooting great lately and our reserves came up once again with a suprise performance by Roger Mason with 3-4 shooting for 8 points. This game shows that Washington can come back from deficits, and hopefully we'll be able to beat Houston tommorow night.
