<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"><font size=""4"">Iverson Asks To Be Traded</font> 8th December, 2006 - 7:30 am New York Post - Allen Iverson went to team president Billy King this past Tuesday and demanded to be traded, according to two agents whose clients play for the 76ers. GM Billy King is attempting to accomodate the request as quickly as possible, according to two general managers that spoke with the Sixers' boss. "If you know your leader doesn't care, how are we supposed to play with the guy?" steamed a teammate to his agent. According to the same agent, Iverson reportedly told King he lies Maurice Cheeks as a person "but not as a coach." Mark Kizla of the Denver Post reports that a source informed him that the Nuggets are interested in Iverson. </div> link: http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/436...s_to_be_traded/ so what do you think, where is he going? impact on the league? input please!
Well one thing is certain, he's not coming here. I don't want Iverson anywhere close to our team because he is not what we need right now. We are a balanced team that doesn't need a selfish superstar to win. Something tells me he will end up in Boston since they are doing bad right now and a similar trade was discussed between the Sixers and the Celtics over the offseason.
grizz, celt, atl, toronto, ny. i see these teams with the best chance. toronto should jump at this ivo bosh combo would be great for them. ny could trade marbury and some extras for ivo. while ny gets rid of steph.
Denver is another possible destination for Iverson since they were interested in him over the offseason and have pieces the Sixers might be interested in.

<div class="quote_poster">WildHundreds113 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">yep, jr smith would go, so would boykins, who else i dont know</div> Probably one of the bigs they have over there. Right now, they have five talented big men on their roster (Reggie Evans, Joe Smith, Kenyon Martin, Nene, and Marcus Camby) and I'm sure at least one of them would be included. If I had to guess, Smith or Martin would be the players added to the deal since Evans, Nene, and Camby all play significant roles for the Nuggets.
<div class="quote_poster">WildHundreds113 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">yep, jr smith would go, so would boykins, who else i dont know</div> take boykins out and replace him with miller...this was talked about over the summer, it'll happen, AI will be a nugget by january
I see him going to Minnesota the 76ers have been in love with Randy Foye since he first worked out for them. They were about to acquire him on draft night, but the Celtics backed out in the last minute. A package of Mccants, Foye, and several draft picks would probably get Minnesota the most dominant duo the league has seen since Shaq and Kobe.
that wouldnt work for minny...i mean 2 good players=good, but AI wont want to be the robin to garnetts batman
garnett isnt batman they will both coexist they are in the same boat and will have to make it work. look what ai did with mobo. with kg the sky is the limit. they are both healthy and remarkable players and ai needs the ball to score while kg doesnt. its should work out in my opinion. we see what happened when kg had sam. imagine what he and ai could do.
I can't see Kevin Garnett having problems coexisting with anyone. He seems so team oriented and he's probably the most unselfish player in the entire league. Garnett wants to win and I don't think he'd have a problem playing with Iverson as long as the team is doing good.

<div class="quote_poster">d-money12 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">so how do you plan on kg scoring? with a rock?</div> you dont get it. there will be plenty touches for Kg. Kg scores on rebounds and putback just as much as he does in iso. kg got plenty of touches while playing with Cassell and Spree. So im sure having ai will be the same.
<div class="quote_poster">d-money12 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">oh ok i got it...i dont know man, they need a better coach though, dwayne casey is like an assistant</div> True but kg=Ai=Playoffs at the very least. Like a poormans west and wilt.
