<div class="quote_poster">shapecity Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Last night I had softball practice with my teammates, and one guy left early because he strained his back the previous night playing with his Nintendo Wii. He was playing Wii Baseball and some how throw his back out swinging too hard.

I was laughing my ass off and called him a dumbass for hurting himself playing a video game. Today I was watching the news and found out this seems to be a big problem for a lot Wii owners. There's actually a site www.wiihaveaproblem.com documenting people getting hurt using the Wii.

So anyone here care to admit being a dumbass and hurting themselves playing with their Wii?</div>
The exact reason why I'm not planning to get one of those damn Wii's.

<< Supervisor at Best Buy. The Nitendo Wii is just as hot item as the Playstation 3. We constantly have customers coming in inquiring about when our next shipment is coming ect ect. I agree on some level that if your going to use the video game as a crutch for not going out and actually doing the activity outside as it was intended to be played it is pretty sad. However I present this math problem:

Getting Drunk + Playing Nitendo Wii = Good Times.

Though playing Tennis or Golf or whatever activity on a video game personally isn't as fun as the actual thing, it also presents a alternative when things like time constraints comes into play. However, I find it quite humorous as well that people getting hurt using this game. Quite sad indeed.

Let me clarify. Merchandising Sup. (Basically in charge of making sure the store "looks pretty"). I agree, best thing is the discount, but the paid me enough to quit my job at FedEx. Also the schedule works well with going to school.

Statement doesn't make sense, thats just transfering money on to gift cards. However me using the gift card (in place of actual money) purchasing items with my employee discount is where I save.

Send me your wish list shape, and I'll go ahead and take 50% of your savings from my discount. (Win, win!)[IMG]

I know most people that have the Nintendo Wii use it too aggressively. Really their own mistake same goes with breaking the straps. I tried it myself and found that you don't need to do much to get power behind your swings in that game.

Thanks purehoops. I'll get you a wish list.

I went to a XMas party on Saturday and got a chance to play the Wii. I have to admit it's pretty cool and was more realistic than I imagined it would be. The best game on the system is the tennis.

It's definitely a system that requires a large group of people to enjoy it. Once you've mastered the motion it would get boring in a hurry, but competing with friends is the best part of it, and the control is simple for people to catch on quick.

The boxing game gets pretty intense after a few drinks.
