They will put up a good fight tying to become above the 500 mark, but fall short. Rockets win by 10.
We came pretty close in the first meeting with the Rockets having to watch Rafer Alston take the game for you guys. Yao hasn't been on fire the last two games, so if Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood are able to contain him, we should be fine. The trio will definitely need to light it up like they've done lately and with the homecourt advantage, I think we can win this one.
I guess Rockets have been pretty tired off this road trip (their longest road trip this season), lets hope they can play with the same intensity as yesterday and bring that D out. Lets keep Wizards under 80, and I think we have this in the bag.
Juwan Howard got 8pts and i believe 4rebs......I'm loving it! Tmac looks like he has some attitude, which means our chances our good. Yao holding his own.

It's been different than the first meeting with the Wizards creating a lot more turnovers and pushing the ball up. As long as the Wizards keep shooting like they did and execute a lot better driving against Yao Ming as well as stopping him, we should win this game.
JVG and the Wiz head coach chatting...wonder whats that about. Seems friendly, then Tmac and Mutumbo steps in.

Are you kidding me? Calvin Booth scored a 3...and now the Rox are only up ... Edit: Next play, Yao with a fade away falling out of bounds. WOW gg.
I guess I'm not too mad about the loss against the Rockets. Yao Ming played great and ended up making all the big plays for the Rockets near the end including that fadeaway. At least T-mac is injured again.
Nice contribution from our bench, Head came in and hit some shots and Howard hit a crucial shot down the stretch. Yao played like a monster
Yao with 38, 11 and 6 blocks! Dominant! Hopefully nothing big happens to TMac, this is seeming like it'll be our year, and we need a healthy TMac to do anything big.

Damn, wouldn't it be nice to have Bonzi back. JVG's mind games are workin against us

http://www.verizoncenter.com/wizards/audio/jordan_061209.mp3 That's audio from Eddie Jordan's post-game conference. He said some really complimentary things about Yao's game compared to other centers in the history of the league.
