<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Exactly. He will need till playoffs to full recover and get back in his rhythm right? And you agree to me that he will need time to get back in his flow right. But this is what you said: You said we need him now. How can he defend, score, and rebound NOW? You are the one saying he will need time so how can he do all that now?</div> Obcourse he can do the things he once did. You just have to come to the conclusion that he's gonna have to work his way back. Just because he might not dominate right off the bat doesn't mean he can't contribute right way. 2 different things. He can definatley still help the team by doin the little things, which he can still do without bein in tiptop shape right now. <div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Wow, once you say we dont have to play him big minutes and the next second you say he is supposed to get 30 minutes. 30 minutes is a lot of minutes. Both Yao and Tmac get 35 minutes. I agree he is capable of being our 3rd best player, but remember he is gonna be benched, and he will share bench minutes, so unless Luther Head dont get his 25 minutes, Bonzi will get 30 minutes. Last year when he "started" for the Kings he got around 32 minutes. What I am saying is that, let him get in shape, and in around one month, I see him being the same Bonzi as last season, BUT I dont see him coming back and recovering right away.</div> When I say he should get 30mins a game, I mean when he's back 100%. For now, we can use him 10-15mins a game. That can work out perfect with Snyder out. The odd man out will be Billy, but he's a rookie anyway. I don't think havin him sit out anymore games is the answer. <div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Last night I watched CW39 News, and to me he looked a bit overweight. I dont care about articles or any fans, I saw him practicing on the news yesterday, and yes, trust me, he did look a bit overweight. He isn't 40 pounds overweight, but I would say he is atleast to the maximum 25 pounds overweight. If you dont believe me, WATCH THE NEWS (SPORTS)</div> If he put on 25pounds, you'd be able to see it in the pics. I don't see any difference in his pics in Sac's uniform from his Rocket pics. He may have put on weight, but not NEAR the amount ppl make it seem to be. The question is "Is Bonzi in shape enuff to play". My answer is YES. He should've never been put back on the inactive list. <div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Exactly, thats what I am trying to say. He will do all that coming off the bench, but he needs time, he is not gonna provide all of this to us right now.</div> I don't expect him too provide heavily right now. But he can definatley be a factor and help us win some ball games. Why let him sit? If Jared Jeffries can come back off breakin his wrist and play significant mins for the Knicks his first game, Bonzi can do it too. <div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Dude, I agree with some things that you are saying, but what I mean throughout all my posts is that Bonzi will provide us help but he needs time to get back in shape and drop some pounds. If he can get in shape quickly, I see us being as good as Dallas and San Antonio, so I mean he needs time to come back, but you were thinking he will provide it all right away. Let him play NOW, get in shape, and THEN provide the help we need to be a title contender. So even I agree that he can provide us with high energy off the bench, and I said it like 3 weeks ago in a different thread.</div> Like I said, he's not gonna come in and give 20 & 10. But atleast he can be a factor out there, maybe get some rebounds and score some points. At this point, we can use some energy. There is nothin we can lose by playin Bonzi, but we can lose by NOT playin Bonzi.

But he still can provide some energy that will be useful for us to win games since Tmac and Snyder are out. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When I say he should get 30mins a game, I mean when he's back 100%. Even though this will probably cut minutes from Howard and Head, I say play Bonzi, so it can give him a chance to get back in his rhythm and provide us with some energy off the bench. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If he put on 25pounds, you'd be able to see it in the pics. The latest pic/video I saw of him was on the news yesterday and he looked a bit overweight by like 25 pounds. Bonzi is in shape to play, but he will need to play and work hard in practice to be able to get back in shape and provide us with some energy off the bench. Bonzi is in shape to play, but to lose some weight he will need to work hard and give it all. When he gets back in shape, I see him providing strong off the bench, and I know Rockets will go far in the playoffs if he can do that. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't expect him too provide heavily right now. Bonzi attempting to come back gives him a chance to get back in his flow and it will let him come back and score, rebound, and do all the work like he did before, but again, JVG needs to play him a lot so Bonzi can get a chance to be a strong player again.
