This is a suggestion thread for members to tell how we can improve the Orlando Magic forum. As the members who visit this site almost daily, you know best what things need to change and what ways this forum could be better. So without further ado, start making suggestions.
couple quick ideas: Let's get a new slogan without that crappy pun Maybe a weekly thread where we post Magic-related news articles and discuss them. I hate when we have like 10 threads for an article that is a paragraph long. It'd be better for cataloguing too. "If you were the Magic GM, what would you do..." for current situations. Future situations. A thread similar to the one I just mentioned, except we go back in time and discuss what we should have done at that point. Listing the salaries at the time, our rosters, our record. We could do a different year every week or two until we run out. Not just transactions, but rotations, strategies Thread(s) where we chart (statistically and impact-wise) certain players' progressions. The young ones, of course. Dwight, Darko, Trevor, Jameer, maybe another one or two. We need somebody to consistently make game threads, with the same format. I wish we could get other forum members to come in and (non-hostilely) discuss with us. We've one of the most active forums, and a lot of other teams forums don't have sh!t in it, so maybe we could get one or two people from another forum, who would normally not have any one in their forum to discuss with, discuss the games when they play Orlando. A thread where we list all kinds of Magic moments, not just one or two "favorites". Even little things like "Remember the time Pat Garrity fell into the stands and hit somebody with beer cups and spilled their beer all over him?) I'm sure Youtube could help us find some stuff.
For the lounge we should just continue the way we're going. Discuss with our Magic homies specifically stuff we might put in off-topic forums. Funny ****, current events, local stuff
Good stuff Chuck. You can start up some of those threads if you want. I'll be happy to sticky them and I'm sure they would be active because they all seem like good ideas.
My joke one pales in comparison to Chucks real ones. I like it. Maybe we could also have some trade scenarios for/from other teams dealing with our guys. Kind of like "what ifs" to get other teams input.

Also, we are all homers and tend to overrate (not overexaggerate ) our players so it could get ugly.
Sorry my dumbass posted in the wrong thread. I done pulled a Swish: We could have a thread about past drafts, where we lament how stupid we were for picking Jeryl Sasser and Steven Hunter, among many, many others. I'll start something in the near future.
Oh glad you joined us again Chuck. Pretty soon you'll be posting ways to improve the Magic forum in the Spurs board. And yes, that would be the most active topic to ever graze the Spurs board since we have a total of two San Antonio fans on JustBBall.

I'd try to come up with something but Chuck and Gators would shoot it down in a heartbeat. Seriously though, I'm not great with these kinds of things. After we get some ideas, I'll make a poll and we can vote.

just go out and get your friends to join...expand the forum, more posters=even more posters...if you get billy joe bob, then he'll go out and get maybe 2 more people...you see the picture?

I think the only way you guys could improve is if Swish15 was demoted. I think Chuck will do a much better job of running the forum.
