<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> To many Lakers fans, Maurice Evans has been a revelation. He has been a better scorer than most people thought he was.

But Evans said fans shouldn't be shocked by his ability to put the ball in the basket.

"I don't know whatever gave people the impression that I couldn't score," said Evans, who scored a career-high 22 points Friday night. "When I played in Europe, I was one of the top scorers."

When Evans played in Italy for Benetton Treviso, he averaged 17.3 points per game.

He has picked up the offense with the Lakers and has started to excel.

"I think I've got a pretty high basketball IQ, so I can pick up things," Evans said. "In the preseason, I was kind of like, 'Man, this is a real overwhelming type of offense.' But I'm comfortable enough where I can find my niches and find ways to be effective in it." </div>

Yeah, when I first heard of Mo Evans I was like, WTF. Who the hell is this guy. But he is defenetily a great substitute for Kobe.
