Larry is from Brooklyn, where the Nets want to move Lol where have I heard that from. The knicks were Larry's dream job and look how that turned out. I just think Larry should retire with his fam. Ond I doubt he would like to come back to NY with all the media.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Really, how come?</div> Back in 2002, when the Nets and Pistons were playing in the 2nd round there were a lot of words exchanged between Larry and Rod that went as far as during the time Larry was coaching the Olympic team. Basically Larry doesn't like Lawerence Frank cause he felt Lawerence was doing a lot of things that was disrespectful during the series, like Frank would call out plays that Larry ran during the game and what not. Frank never responded other than saying he respects Larry and is a HOF coach, but Rod went out and said that Larry has no right calling anyone unprofessional and sly when he has no loyalty to any team and leaves whenever he wants. And the words kept going back and forth till after the Finals and during hte middle of the Olympics. The two don't like each other very much and I don't see a pairining in the near future.
I think Lawrence Frank does a pretty good job, he seems to emphasize defense and giving Kidd some room for creativity. and I don't know if Brown even has any interest in coaching the Nets, or if Thorn would want to dish out the kind of money that Brown might want.
