An interesting thing to observe will be who starts to struggle after the old ball is put into play.

During the summer when I have all the time in the world, I would always get these cuts on the tips of my middle and index finger, and I would always be playing with my left, because eventually it got so bad I couldn't shoot with my right anymore. And basically, I think it happened because I was using a really crappy synthetic ball. So, I guess since they are professionals, something like this would be an issue for them.
Stern made a rule about chewing gum? What was it? (FYI, I've been swamped with school lately, I haven't had much time for the NBA) I posted my original post (the players settling in with the ball) before I read about Nash and Kidd complaining about cuts on the hand. In that case, I'm glad we're going back to the leather ball.
