Why it makes sense: Who said it had to make sense?

Why it doesn't: It would put the Nets at the mercy of the most truculent personality in the league, and they'd have to rip apart everything they have in their playbook. It would essentially turn Jason Kidd into a bystander, it would compromise Nenad Krstic's growth and they would have a hard time explaining why they went out of their way to relieve a rival's headache. Long story short: There are better trades out there when the time comes, and it could be coming soon. </div>

I wouldn't mind a VC/AI trade if we get Steven Hunter or Dalembert in it (obviously we'd trade more than just VC), but the chances of that are very slim.

We don't need Iverson, we need a big man.

Iverson on the nets would make absolutely no sense at all. the nets are fine except they still need a big man to hold down the paint

Exactly. If we were to trade Carter it would be for a big man.
