Well, Lakers now lead at the half. Luke Walton has just been terrific thus far

    *Edit - Odom's injured

I heard Lamar might be out with an MCL injury. It could be serious.

Sprained knee can be very serious Brian, the MCL is in the knee.

I hope it's nothing to serious, though.

Really? I thought sprains weren't serious injuries. Anyways, I hope Lamar is alright. Either way, Lakers are just dominating. Time to turn off the TV and do my homework (damn! I've got craploads of homework to do!)

God damnit, this is why I'm not so sure about the Lakers being an elite team. They were up by what, 27 points in the 4th quarter? Now with 1:38 to play, Houston has the chance to tie the game and Kobe's cold right now.

Sprains can be really serious, look at Chris Mihm's ankle sprain. Sprained knees are no joke, especially when they involve any of the four major ligaments (ACL, MCL, LCL, and the PCL).

It's alright. So it's possible the injury can be season ending?? [IMG]

No. After seeing the injury, it shouldn't be that bad.

If it was a bad sprain, then yes it could've been season ending, but he just twitched it. At most, probably 4-7 games.

way too close for comfort but at least they got the win. Im worried about the next 8/10 road games because of Odom's injury.

Who said Yao Ming can't be stopped? I didnt like the fact the Lakers let the lead slip again. We have to blow teams out when we get leads of 20-30pts. I understand that Pjax put in the reserves, but still. It could have gotten very ugly.... I hope Lamar is okay too. No real word on whats the actual status is. Just his knee was being examined.

Yeah I just read the report on ESPN. When I checked the replay it did not seem too bad at all... but maybe more serious than it looks. He (Lamar) said something felt wrong with it.

Well.. we will have to wait till at least tomorrow to confirm what seems like a likely number of games with Odom.

I just read the game excerpts from yahoo and minus us losing LO, everything looked good! Trench is right, I can't believe the Lakers nearly lost a 26 pt. lead! Luckily our bench was deep enough, now for the test in Dallas..

Phil said Odom would be lucky to be able to play by the end of January...
