Devean George will be defending Kobe Bryant tonight for the Mavs. This is going to be a tough back to back game for the Lakers, especially after almost blowing the game last night in Houston. Without Lamar Odom, the Lakers don't matchup well against Nowitzki, and Kwame Brown will have to stay out of early foul trouble. If Kwame gets 2 quick fouls like last night, this game could get out of hand in a hurry. Unlike Houston, the Mavs have 4 viable scorers on the court at the same time. The Lakers will have to control the glass and rotate better on the pick and rolls. Dallas has killed us in the pick and roll over the last few years, and their outside shooting is contagious once one of the Mavs get in the zone. The Lakers have to make this an ugly, grind it out game in order to win tonight. We can't settle for the 3 ball, and we must attack the rim and get easy points at the free throw line. The Mavs matchup well with us defensively, especially when they go to their zone defense. It might be a good idea to use Radman in the starting lineup tonight to stretch the defense. Him and Cook have to cash in from the perimeter when the ball gets kicked out to them. Allowing the Rockets to come back last night, forcing the starters to get back in the game will probably end up biting us in the butt tonight.

If I were a betting man, I'd say they'd lose tonight, but this team has repeatedly shown up for big games (while losing the easier ones), so I wouldn't be surprised if they pull off a victory tonight.
